the comfortable nude ♥

Wow it has been a while since I posted an outfit post on Fairytale Kiss. I think November was the last time I spent the day with Lydia shooting blog photos and it feels very good to be back. With my morning sickness and low energy mood swings on pause, I was excited to go up to Victoria with Lydia last Friday and get the camera ready. I have to be honest, dressing a bump is more difficult than I expected. I thought it would be nice and refreshing to reflect on my usual outfits and see how pregnancy has changed my wardrobe.
Comfort and practicality now plays a big part with my everyday wardrobe. I did actually bring a pair of heels for this outfit but I am now converted to a comfy pair of trainers. Back ache is a new pregnancy trait I have inherited which means I can't be on my feet for too long, especially wearing a thin heel. I'm not complaining, I am so excited to be pregnant but I just need to be more practical with my shoe options. I don't fancy falling head first because of my strappy, sandal heels. Luckily for me, I quite like the look of trainers with tube skirts.                                                                                                                     This particular tube skirt is from Pretty Little Thing and although it is a size 6, it easily stretches across my bump so I feel very comfortable and secure when I am wearing it. I have kissed my leather trousers goodbye and I am mostly in dresses or skirts now. Stretchy fabric may look cool and figure hugging, but grabbing a big baggy jumper makes this outfit really wearable and slightly warmer. The lovely nude, caramel colour palette for this outfit is gorgeous and I don't feel dumpy or overwhelmed by the different textures. It can be tricky to find the right nude shade for my complexion so a camel shade skirt is still flattering for my skin tone. The weather is still pretty chilly in London at the moment so I don't mind hanging a big fur coat from my shoulders.
This particular teddy coat was stolen from Lydia, she usually wears the teddy coat with light, denim jeans and a simple t-shirt and she always looks incredible with it. The brown shade certainly suits any skin tone and I will most definitely be adding this to my shopping list. Back to the jumper, this particular bardot style jumper is comfortable but the bardot style design is what made me fall in love. I think the gold cross necklace adds a bit of glamour to the jumper and grabbing my bronzer and fake tan certainly completed this look. What do you think of this outfit? Are you a fan of nude outfits? Let me know how you dress/dressed your baby bump! ♥

  1. The lace wigs uk came on time and the texture is really soft and pretty. I love that it is a Spanish wave and the length is true to size. I did bleach the knots, wash and condition it as soon as I got it. The full lace wigs is really good and doesn’t need plucking but if u prefer to pluck anyway then go ahead. The only con that I have is that it is on the lace wigs. I didn’t know that 130% density was that thin. Next time I’ll know to go for at least a 150% density for a fuller wig. But other than the thinness I really love the hair extensions uk and have been wanting this type of full lace wig for a while. The price is pretty good for human hair! If ur looking for a full lace wig I would definitely recommend this!! I absolutely love this hair. It's very soft and curls well. It does shed some but only when excessively manipulated. I posted a pic with how the human hair extensions looked right out the pack with the lace still on it to show how it looked.
