#BookClub - you do you ♥

It has been a while since I put together a book review on Fairytale Kiss and if you have watched my Current Favourites video on Youtube then you would know I have been loving Sarah Knight's book collection. For me, it is a pretty rare thing when I find an author I really admire. I am very fussy when it comes to books and I get put off by books that are over hyped but when I first started reading The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F****, I fell in love with Sarah's writing tone and I just find her advice so honest and refreshing. She has released a brand new book called You Do You* and I had to write this blog post about it.
With The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving a F***, that book is designed to help you with not being afraid to say no and to stop worrying about the small things in life. With You Do You, I think the concept behind this book is to stop apologising for being yourself, I love the message that you don't need to change who you are to please everyone. The book is sectioned off to cover different situations but this is not a typical self help book. The running theme of Sarah's books are to be true to yourself and not feel the need to change who you are, especially her latest release. Although the book embraces living for yourself, it also explains that you can still do this without hurting other people in the process.
Self care is a very strong message in this book. If you are looking for a little life refresher, this will be a great read for you. If you are hesitant about doing something, whether its pushing yourself to go after your goals or if you need to stop putting yourself down, this book covers it all. From diets to friendship, this is a pretty powerful book that stops that nagging voice in your head from constantly making you feel self doubt. I love the strong message Sarah brings in this book and I haven't been able to put it down. A particular section in the book is about taking a risk because you could die the next day, yes this is pretty extreme but I think a blunt and straight to the point book is exactly what I need to reach my goals this year. What do you think of self help books? Are you a Sarah Knight fan? ♥
