#tiptalk - embracing your style ♥

Jacket: Calvin Klein Dress: New Look Boots: Primark
I am 100% guilty of comparing myself to others, as soon as I have a phone in my hand I am scrolling through social media and putting myself down. It is a pretty bad habit and as a blogger, it made me think that I had to change my own personal style to fit in with other bloggers and certain celebrity trends. I saw a really nice quote on Sarah Ashcroft's Instagram photo today: "Too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is greener." This quote is pretty amazing and really relevant for today's #TipTalk chat. A few months ago I began to question my own style and I felt a constant need to change my leopard print dress for a floaty floral dress.
Of course there is nothing wrong with floaty floral dresses but that just isn't my style. I love wearing tight fitted outfits, I love vinyl skirts and I love wearing glittery, lace underwear that shows off my cleavage. Ever since I was old enough to talk about clothes I would always go for the quirky top or necklace but recently, instead of embracing my style, I tried to 'tone it down' and hide it. I decided that I didn't like the outfits I was photographing for Fairytale Kiss, no they aren't necessarily bad outfits but they just didn't reflect what I personally love about fashion and style. Since I started my Youtube channel I have kept all of my outfits and make-up looks true to me, I wear leopard print PJ's as a dress.

I also wear brown lipsticks because I love anything that reminds me of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am happier than ever with the content I am creating for my blog and I hope you are happy reading it. I created Fairytale Kiss to share and express what I love and what I care about and no one should feel like they have to change to fit in. Don't get me wrong, I adore reading blog posts and IG stories about other fashion looks from bloggers and influencers, it can definitely give you inspiration and open your eyes to something new but at the same time, I won't put my taste down and change for any brand. I love what I love and I am very proud and grateful that people (you) read my blog.

This is the main point I wanted to share in toady's blog post, if you want to buy that furry coat but Alexa Chung or Kim K wouldn't like it - buy it. This can also be said with brands, I love buying clothes in Primark but I also love Louis Vuitton and Versace, you can still wear high end and high street brands without feeling pressure to have a good Instagram feed. Wear what you want and don't forget to have fun with fashion - no matter what your style is. There is plenty of room to enjoy your style and still appreciate someone else's. ♥

  2. About the Breitling Watches band, it is brown, not black or grey. It is made of genuine calf leather, soft and durable. The Breitling really shows the improvement of watch-making technology. It uses brushing and polishing, every corner is polished well and gives a very angular feeling. The Fake Breitling Watches” lettering is deeply engraved. In a word, from outside case to inner mechanism, the Replica Breitling?is good a high end replica that will be perfectly suitable for men who need a timer in formal occasions. By the way, the Louis Vuiton Handbags is also available.
