the kurt geiger ankle boot dupes ♥

Stop everything right now. I cannot tell you how excited I am just about a pair of boots. If you casually browse my Instagram page then you will know that I am obsessed with sequins and winter shoes. I spotted a pair of Kurt Geiger high heel ankle boots last month but alas, they are slightly on the pricey side for £169.00. I don't think this is ridiculous for a pair of boots but I was over the moon when I found the exact same style in a shop named Deichmann. I didn't expect to find any glittery boots but voila, the black diamonte ankle boots were neatly stacked on the display unit. I grabbed a size 5 and I had three women ask me whether their daughters would like them for Christmas, I made them all grab a pair each too.

sassy prom dresses ♥

Whether you are looking for a Christmas dress for your work event or a dress for your prom, I have found a new website that can help. I have been browsing through a website called Sassy My Prom and I have been pretty impressed so far. Why am I so impressed? You can actually find homecoming dresses under 100 - yep, under £100. You don't need to spend a fortune to feel fabulous and one of my hobbies is to look for over the top, glam prom dresses...even if my prom was quite a while ago. What I love most about this collection is that the styles are ideal for prom or for a formal event. I thought it would be nice to make a small wish list.

You can find really glam designs and they don't always have to be long, fishtail designs. Cocktail dresses can still look glamorous and I am finding it pretty hard to choose my favourite! If you are looking for red homecoming dresses, they really have a great selection. We all know I love anything to do with sequins and the red fabric is an extra glam bonus! I usually prefer darker tones but a red prom dress is your best bet if you want to stand out. What do you think of my favourite picks? I would love to know what you wore to your prom?

the last minute halloween look ♥

Left to right: 100% Vamp*, Reckless* and 4am*
Halloween is tomorrow night and if you haven't prepared any Halloween costume or you have a few days until your Halloween event, don't panic - I have you covered. This blog post is actually inspired by my best friend Jenny, she likes Halloween but she isn't crazy about it and when we recently dressed up for Halloween, she did a quick and easy make-up look. So for today's post, I wanted to include a few products that you can use to create an easy Halloween look without any hassle or stress. Whether you are taking your younger siblings out trick or treating tomorrow night or if you have an event at the weekend, you can still create an amazing Halloween look even if you don't have time or the patience.

#tiptalk - being your own cheerleader ♥

When it comes to thinking about Fairytale Kiss, I have learnt that content planning is my friend. I was reading quite a few of my #TipTalk posts this week and I am often worried that my blog posts can get repetitive. I then started to worry about my blog in general and I began to think about how often I see people worry, whether they are talking to me about what worries them or if I see tweets on Twitter. No matter what your passion is, I don't think there is an easy way to achieve your goal. I have always said that I want to be honest and open on Fairytale Kiss and yes, this week I started to feel slightly lost and nervous about my future.

quiz clothing sequin dresses ♥

It is no secret that I love sequin dresses, the glitz and glamour of a sequin dress makes me want to cram my wardrobe with every type of gown and wear them at any occasion. I wanted to round up a few of my favourites from Quiz and if you have seen one of my recent fashion posts, then you will know how much I love a trail dress. I instantly feel the Christmas season rush over me when I spot a sequin dress and long, over the top gowns have a big role to play in that. I love the Hollywood element of wearing a long, dazzling dress and I think this particular selection from Quiz nails the glamour aspect instantly.

the PANDORA disney collection ♥

I still can't believe I was invited to this magical event, when I received the PANDORA and Disney email and saw it sitting in my inbox, I felt like I was on cloud nine. Let's start from the beginning, I was invited to Westminster bridge where we watched a pretty spectacular presentation on the side of the County Hall building. Watching the video collaboration on the side of a London building by Big Ben with Disney and the PANDORA team was quite a moment for me and the magic was still waiting to unfold...
After we watched the collection reveal, we were driven to the Marble Arch flagship PANDORA store, where we were greeted with glittery cocktails and I was pretty excited to see my favourite TOWIE and MIC stars walking around the after party. While an illustrator drew a few Minnie and Mickey designs on the PANDORA gift boxes, we admired the new collection. The excitement was not over because I was also invited to a Disney themed afternoon tea at the Kensington Hotel. Magical, right?
I had no idea what to wear, so of course I bought a dress that involved sequins, you can find it here. As I arrived at the hotel, I was pretty entranced by interior and after a few selfies (obviously), I made my way to the afternoon tea room. I was greeted by the lovely girls from PANDORA and the collection was boldly displayed on the table, ready to be snapped.
I am still getting used to my new camera but I was pretty impressed how it captured all of the beautiful shine and glimmer of the Disney gems. It is still pretty hard for me to pick a favourite item, the entire collection is just perfect and as a big Beauty and the Beast fan, I certainly think they did the film justice.
We sat down and the afternoon tea began, the entire menu was a salute to the Beauty and the Beast movie and they didn't miss a note. From grey mousse to a rose petal jelly, it was an incredible meal from start to finish. I can't believe how detailed the menu was and it was a dream partnership to celebrate the collection. I was wearing my beloved Minnie Mouse necklace to match my dress and it really did add an extra touch of glamour to the evening, the detailing of the necklace is stunning and no matter how old you are, Disney will never go out of style.
It is so exciting to see brands collaborate, especially when you have grown up with them. As I have said before, my first graduation present was a charm from PANDORA and the detailing of the charms really do stand the test of time. It was an incredible night I am so grateful that the PANDORA and Disney team allowed me to experience the collection and celebrate with them. If you are looking for my favourite picks, you can find my previous blog post here. What do you think of the Disney and PANDORA collection? I would love to know what your favourite pieces are! ♥

brand spotlight - e.l.f. cosmetics ♥

For my everyday make-up routine, I have started to switch up my products. I was lucky enough to receive a selection of e.l.f. goodies* and I thought the products would make a great brand spotlight post. Not only will I talk about the quality of the make-up but I also wanted to talk about what I think of the overall brand image. e.l.f. was actually created in New York in 2004 and this year it was launched in Superdrug, you can see my event blog post here. As you can see, the packaging and presentation of the products is pretty flawless. Let's start with my favourite product that I tested, the e.l.f. Nude Eyeshadow Palette in Rose Gold.
We all know I am a orange/brown smokey eye lover when it comes to my eye routine but I love that I got the chance to test out a slightly pinker approach. For £12.50 you are getting your money's worth and much more, the compact is a great size and the mirror makes this palette very user friendly. I am pretty bored of carrying an extra mirror in my bag so its nice that e.l.f. have this covered. Shade wise, I was really impressed with how bold the pigmentation was. Considering the shades are quite neutral, warm and light, they still showed great depth on my eyelids and hand swatches.
I was not disappointed. Ironically, the pinker shades really gave my eyes a very 00's vibe, similar to Eva Longoria's make-up in Desperate Housewives. It goes without saying that this palette is great for everyday wear, I would have liked a few darker shades for my lid but I admire that the colour selection takes me out of my comfort zone. As you can see from the swatches, the colours are incredibly vibrant, I am really drawn to the deep berry lip colour and if you are looking for a Halloween friendly lip shade, Wine is definitely a great option. If you really want an intense look, try adding a splash of the Aqua Beauty Radiant Gel Lip Stain in the shade Dewy Berry. I cannot wait to wear this lip look for Halloween! For unique beauty products, the Lip Exfoliator really caught my eye.
I have been testing the Sweet Cherry scent and at first, I thought it was a lip balm but it actually removes dry skin from your lips as well as keeping them moisturised, this improves the softness and appearance when you apply your lipstick or lip liner on top of your lips. You don't need to use it often but it really makes a difference to your lip routine. Overall, I am very excited that you can now buy the e.l.f. range at Superdrug, they have very classic shades and certain colours that take you back to 00's - hello Paris Hilton! If you are looking for high quality, everyday make-up or if you want to experiment with make-up tutorials on a budget, you have come to the right place. What do you think of the e.l.f. range? Have you tried them before? ♥

pandora wish list ♥

I've pretty much been talking about the new Disney and PANDORA collection for weeks now, I was kindly invited to see the preview at the flagship store in Marble Arch and I was also invited to the afternoon tea at the Kensington Hotel, I will be posting a separate video and blog post on these events this week but before I edit the video, I wanted to put together a wishlist post on the entire PANDORA collection. I popped into the store in New York before my flight and I fell in love with the Radiant Teardrop ring, the unique teardrop shape is simply beautiful and I thought it would be nice to show off the collection and share my favourite picks.

the stila stay all day foundation ♥

When you find a product that works perfectly, it is pretty hard not to shout from your bedroom window. I get so excited about the Stila brand as a whole because I really do believe the quality of the range is outstanding. I have previously talked about my foundation routine but I wanted to write a closer review on the Stila Stay All Day Foundation, it is still one of the products I have bought again and again. Like I've mentioned in my previous foundation post, I don't usually wear the Stay All Day foundation when I'm at at my laptop writing my blog posts, but if I have an event, girls night or if I need to take photos, the Stila foundation will certainly be getting used.

#tiptalk - embracing your style ♥

Jacket: Calvin Klein Dress: New Look Boots: Primark
I am 100% guilty of comparing myself to others, as soon as I have a phone in my hand I am scrolling through social media and putting myself down. It is a pretty bad habit and as a blogger, it made me think that I had to change my own personal style to fit in with other bloggers and certain celebrity trends. I saw a really nice quote on Sarah Ashcroft's Instagram photo today: "Too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is greener." This quote is pretty amazing and really relevant for today's #TipTalk chat. A few months ago I began to question my own style and I felt a constant need to change my leopard print dress for a floaty floral dress.

cari's closet - the sequin gown ♥

Cari's Closet - Bella Sequin Gown*
There is something magical about today's blog post. I never went to prom so when I tried on this dress, I felt like I was an extra for the 10 Things I Hate About You movie. We all know I love to be ostentatious when it comes to my wardrobe and this dress certainly ticks that box. As soon as I saw it on Cari's Closet*, I was incredibly excited when it arrived at my doorstep. I was eager to find the perfect location to take the photos and luckily my local park had a beautiful area to match the glamorous style of the dress.

the relaxation wishlist ♥

Well this post is pretty exciting. I feel all tech and gadget savvy after putting this blog post together, I thought it would be nice to create a wish list purely dedicated to products that can help you relax and unwind. The top of my list has to be music, I love making a hot bath and putting Simply Red on. Whenever I feel stressed, Ollie always runs me a bath and grabs his iPhone playlist. It can be quite tricky because I am always worried I'll get his phone wet but Panasonic have actually just released a set of waterproof speakers. The Panasonic Waterproof Bluetooth speakers* are perfect for the bathroom and I love that you can get them in black or white - they are certainly on my relaxation wish list!

I have also included a few make-up essentials, I think skin care products are a great way to relax and the Stila Beauty Balm is a great way to let your skin breathe but the cream still makes your skin glow. Finally for the hair section of my wish list, I have to stick with one of my favourite hair care brands, the Redken hair masks not only improve the quality of your hair but they also smell delicious! So grab your Ben & Jerry's and Buffy box set and spend some time away from your phone or laptop, I really find this helps me unwind. What do you think of my picks? I would love to know how you relax and zone out

#tiptalk - the alone zone ♥

Whether you have a big work presentation due or if you are heading off to a blog event, sometimes you are required to do things by yourself. It can be pretty daunting and I have never really had a problem with doing something alone. I have been attending blog events since I was 21 years old and I have never gone to an event with anyone else. For the past few weeks I have started to feel really nervous attending blog events and I wanted to write this blog post about how I overcome my nerves. Even if you aren't a blogger, hopefully this #TipTalk post will help you for everyday events that you face by yourself.

skinny caffe - a healthier alternative ♥

It has been a while since I drifted to the health and food side on Fairytale Kiss, but to be honest, I've been feeling slightly underwhelmed by the health and fitness world recently. The colder season has arrived and I much prefer a warm take-away on the sofa than chewing apples and running in the gym. That being said, I am trying to push myself to keep healthy and active and I need all the energy I can get. When Skinny Coffee* arrived at my door a few weeks ago, I made sure that I did my research. I would never feature any fad products on my blog because I believe in being honest and I want to talk about products I love and want to shout about. Meet The Skinny Coffee - this is certainly a game changer.

girls on film - vinyl jacket ♥

Trench coat: Girls On Film Dress: Forever 21 (similar) Boots: ASOS (similar from EGO)
This is a very exciting week. After months of searching I have finally found my dream coat. We all know I am quite the Buffy and Batman addict so my obsession with leather, PVC and vinyl clothes has been with me since I was a teenager. I ordered three to four different coats trying to find a style and size that suited me but I personally couldn't wear a trench coat without the fabric being too big for my frame. This coat is from Girls On Film, I tried the coat on in the London Debenhams store and I fell in love with the fit and the fabric instantly.
