#tiptalk - the perfect night's sleep ♥

Mattress: Leesa*
I don't know about you but I really used to struggle to get enough sleep. I would often find myself yawning at my desk and I needed coffee to save me. Whether you are scrolling through your Twitter timeline or your Facebook news feed, I think you will find this is a really common problem. I was really tired of feeling tired during the day so I decided to put my detective hat on and find out exactly what makes you tired and how you can improve your sleeping routine. Sleep is so important and not only does it make you feel more alert during the day but it can really benefit your health, it allows your body to heal and repair itself and I didn't actually know that sleeping can reduce the risk of more serious health conditions including heart disease and high blood pressure.
When it came to my detective work, I found one of the clues straight away - my mattress. It was certainly not on the comfy side and because I split my nights between Ollie's and my house, I could certainly see that my bed was not comfortable enough. I would usually wake up feeling sore and when I got into my bed at night, it did take me awhile to get comfortable. I was lucky enough to test a new mattress from a brand named Leesa. Leesa* actually specialise in luxury, foam mattresses and I was incredibly excited to test out the double mattress. Compared to my regular bed, the Leesa mattress has 3 layers of foam inside. The first night I slept on the mattress I noticed how easily I fell asleep, you can feel yourself easily sink onto the bed but you still feel supported. It is a pretty relaxing feeling and I noticed the dramatic difference straight away.

I'll be honest, I didn't really think a mattress would make much difference to your sleeping routine. Boy was I proved wrong! I have noticed such a dramatic change with my sleeping pattern, not only do I fall asleep faster but my back ache has completely stopped. I think my previous mattress had lost its shape and bounce but I'm glad I've had the chance to compare the difference. Even my mum had a test of the mattress and she couldn't believe how comfortable it was. Not only was my first impression great but the results of sleeping on the mattress really speaks for itself. I actually enjoy getting into bed now and I don't have to struggle getting comfortable!
I was pretty surprised how fast and easy the delivery process was too, I simply clicked on the size of the mattress, I have a double size in my bedroom but Leesa also have Single, King and Double King available. Unpacking was also a walk in the park, a medium sized box arrived and I simply pulled the mattress out, (it was neatly rolled up), then I removed the clear packaging and it fit neatly on my bed frame. It really was as simple as that, it isn't technical and you can also recycle the box afterwards. Not only is delivery free and the packaging eco friendly but for every 10 beds Leesa sell, 1 mattress is donated to a charity that specialises in shelter care for homeless men, women and children.

You can find out more about the One-Ten donation programme hereSo to conclude my detective work, if you are having trouble having the perfect night's sleep, take a closer look at your mattress. This certainly plays a big role! I can't explain how happy I am that I have a comfortable mattress now and Leesa are currently running a limited time offer of a £50 discount. You can enter the code FAIRYTALEKISS50 at the checkout! What tips do you have for getting a good night's sleep? I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what other #TipTalk posts you would like me to write this month
