#tiptalk - feeling guilty ♥

Hi guys, I hope you are all having a lovely start to the week. The weekend whizzed past as usual and I spent the majority of my time eating. A lot. I haven't been feeling that great recently so I've been absent from the gym, I dragged myself to the gym for a swimming session last week and I felt really poorly afterwards. I feel like my diet has gone from bad to worse but I'm starting the week with a positive attitude and mindset towards my diet. I used to really put myself down about my eating habits and when I joined the gym I felt less guilty, now I am absent from the gym again I was starting to feel that familiar feeling of guilt creeping back. I think for today's #tiptalk, I wanted to talk about finding the right balance in things, whether it is diet, blogging, work or friends.
I will hold my hand up and admit that I feel guilty when I am not working towards something, I am constantly comparing myself to others and I often wonder why I am not doing as well. This can be said for life in general, blogging and also my diet and body. I wanted to write this post to remind myself that having a 6 pack won't make me a better person, yes it would be lovely to have that discipline and I really admire people that do but you shouldn't make yourself feel awful for not getting there right away. If you have a goal, don't feel bad for taking a step back once or twice, we are only human and a few treat days is not the end of the world.

I am determined to eat healthy today and if I am still finding it painful to exercise, my overall health comes first. This can also be said for blogging, I shouldn't feel guilty if I don't have time to post a Netflix post every Sunday or if I want to retake a photo because I am not happy with it. I don't want to lose the love I have for blogging because I feel like 'I have to blog'. I think we should do something because we want to and not because we put pressure on ourselves or compare ourselves to others.
