dragonfly tea - green tea ♥

With the icy, winter weather now here I love nothing better than to enjoy a healthy tea. I'm not a big fan of a traditional British tea - the whole 'milk and two sugars' routine is not really my thing but I am obsessed with green tea's. They can taste so refreshing and I think you can certainly enjoy a green tea during any season, summer or winter. When Dragonfly Tea contacted me, I was so excited to try the Jade Orchid Green Tea* and the Lemongrass and Ginger Infusion* and if you thought tea could be boring, think again - I am obsessed with the Dragonfly Tea packaging! I could not wait to get snapping and I was even more surprised how jazzy the tea bags looked inside. A box contains 15 large leaf pyramids (30g) and I actually used one tea bag for two cups. I may have picked the Jade tea purely because of my name...I am easily pleased.

I was certainly not disappointed, if you fancy a tea that is light and sweet, the Jade Orchid Green Tea is your best option. It really tastes fresh without being too sickly. This is definitely a good option if you are looking for a cosy PJ night with your duvet and Netflix. There are so many different flavours to choose from, it can be tricky to know what you want. I am really looking for products that help me detox and feel fresh, I can have a few too many cheat days so I love that ginger tea is a great tool for cleansing your digestive system. I am really impressed with the range and its nice that you can create a 'London afternoon tea experience' simply by using the kettle in your own kitchen. I think it's a lovely way to start your morning, especially if you need to keep warm in the winter weather! How do you like to start your morning? I would love to know what your favourite green tea flavour is!

  2. As compared to regularly brewed green teas, it comes with 37 times more anti-oxidants than green teas and in terms of nutritional content, one cup of matcha is equal to 10 cups of regularly brewed green tea.
