Hi girls, I hope your week is going well. I only have a week left until I am Australia bound! I will be doing a post about my packing essentials but I wanted to round up a few product favourites today. Some products are slightly new to my beauty routine but the YSL lipstick has been a firm favourite for quite a few years now. Let me know if you would like a monthly round-up of the top four products that I have been using! When I am deciding what products to feature in my favourite posts, I am usually reaching for the product I've suddenly been using non stop or a product I have fallen back in love with again. The Ariana Grande perfume will always be a fragrance that I can't get enough of! ♥
Peaches and Cream Individual Lashes 15mm*
After having lash extensions in November, my lashes have felt really lonely without them and I am determined to create a similar look. For some reason I have always been intimidated by individual lashes, they seem so tricky compared to strip lashes but I have fallen in love with the individual lashes from Peaches and Cream. Although it takes slightly longer, I found that I could really control how thick and dramatic I wanted my lashes to look. I definitely recommend watching Lisa Eldridge's tutorial on lash extensions, it certainly helped me.
Ari by Ariana Grande
I've been slightly quiet about my Ariana obsession this month, I was lucky enough to open Ari by Ariana Grande for Christmas last year and I have been a fan ever since. Stepping away from the gorgeous bottle design, I love that the scent contains a sweet floral note with a slight hint of marshmallow. If you are looking for a pretty display on your dressing table, it doesn't get much better than this. You can read my full review on the Ariana perfume here.
YSL Rogue Volupte Shine lipstick
I am really not a pink lipstick kind of girl, I usualy wear nude shades and warm brown tones but for some reason I have been dabbing this YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick on my lips all week. This shade is called 114 and annoyingly I can't seem to find it online but I think 06 Pink Devotion is a very similar match. It adds a fresh pop of colour and although I think it would suit a fairer skin tone, it certainly works on my lips and even my cheeks. I just cannot fault the packaging, it is literally perfection and I can't get enough of the YSL brand.
Look Good Feel Better Foundation Brush*
As I mentioned in my previous post, I love having a fully covered face but foundations only work well if they are applied with the right tools. I personally prefer using foundation brushes because I love being able to 'paint' on the product. This particular foundation brush from Look Good Feel Better* is one of my favourites right now, the handle is wooden and the bristles are synthetic but they are still incredibly soft. I find it really easy to work into my skin without leaving any harsh orange marks and the long handle really makes the brush easy to use!
