Last night I travelled to the Liverpool Street area to attend the Felicities PR press event. The team were kind enough to invite me down and because I'm branching out into more food, drink and well being sections on Fairytale Kiss, I was really excited to see popular brands on the market right now. As I made my way up the stairs there were different sections displayed around the room, I first walked towards a brand called Ugly. Although the name is unique, the drinks are far from ugly, in fact they are pretty perfect if you are trying to kick a fizzy drink addiction! The cans contain sparkling water and they are mixed with a touch of fruit juice. I tried the grapefruit and pineapple flavour and I thought it was quite refreshing, I can see this being a big hit with fizzy drink lovers who are trying to cut down. The ingredients are 100% natural so I definitely see the brand as a healthy alternative compared to drinks packed with sweeteners. The next stand I looked at was Jealous Sweets - I absolutely loved the magpie logo instantly and I'm impressed that the sweet range is suitable for vegetarians and the sweets are gluten free and free from artificial colours. The Grizzly Bears were certainly my favourite sweets, I couldn't stop eating them.
I was then handed a fresh gin and tonic (my favourite choice) and I quickly caught the eye of Well & Truly tortilla chips, a gluten free crisp with 40% less fat, this was certainly a popular section! I tried the cheese flavour tortillas and I found them really light but still really tasty, it's nice that brands can appeal to gluten free diets while still keeping a great taste to the product line. When it came to the clothes I absolutely loved the Sports Philosophy range, as you know from my IG and Twitter, I have started going to the gym more frequently now so I was really keen to look at the gym range. They had a beautiful fuchsia pink sports bra and trousers, this was definitely my favourite set from the collection. Every 10% of Sports Philosophy profits actually goes towards the Freedom for Children Foundation which is definitely a plus. It was a really great evening and it was interesting to see popular brands offering new and quirky products. Do you have any healthy snack brands and gym brands that you love? I would love to know if you have a favourite gluten free snacks! ♥
