barcelona holiday ♥

Hi girls, this week I have been catching up with blogs and I really want to start getting back into writing mine again, I've really missed it. Today I wanted to do a slightly different post. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I recently travelled to Barcelona and Alicante with the boyfriend.  I found it quite tricky deciding what I wanted to pack but I was quite pleased with the outfits I ended up picking. It was lovely and hot walking around Barcelona but I still felt comfortable in the outfits I wore especially when I was travelling all day. My black dress was from Zara, it's a basic tube style dress, I bought this last year in the sale but you can find a similar dress from Missguided

I paired the dress with sandals from Aldo, I pretty much wore these shoes the entire trip! I originally bought them from New York but you can see similar sandals here. For bikini's I packed far too many but my favourite has to be my classic black bikini from Next. If you are travelling to Barcelona, I definitely recommend carrying a bottle of water with you, it can get pretty hot! We stayed at the Mirror Hotel and it was perfection, definitely the most incredible hotel I've ever been to! What outfits do you wear when you are going on holiday? If you want to see more outfits from Barcelona let me know!

joico volumising hair range ♥

I have always had a love/hate relationship with my hair. Due to the fact that my hair is quite frizzy, I am always using my straighteners and over the years my hair has become quite thin and flat. I have heard that certain vitamins can be a perfect tool for keeping hair healthy and thick but I also think hair products play a major role in giving your mane an extra boost. This is where the Joico Body Luxe range* steps in, for the past week I have been trying out the Joico Body Luxe shampoo, conditioner and volumising foam and I am really surprised with the results. When I first opened the shampoo, I was immediately in love with the scent, it smells fresh without being too overpowering. I found that it quickly lathered up in my hair and it was easy to wash out. Even the boyfriend has started using it and he's usually pretty picky!

As I opened the conditioner, the scent was not as strong but as I began to rub the cream into my hair and I definitely began to smell the scent more. I have actually been leaving the conditioner in my hair for about four to five minutes just because my hair is quite dry and damaged at the moment. This definitely gives the conditioner a chance to work on my hair. I found the shampoo and the conditioner easy to wash out and after I combed my hair, I applied a small amount of mousse to my roots. The formula was non sticky and really easy to work with, I don't usually use mousse but I have certainly been noticing a difference. For my overall thoughts on the range, I am pretty impressed. Although I think the packaging could be jazzed up a little bit, the actual product results are incredible. My hair has such lovely body and fullness to it and it doesn't turn frizzy! If you do have thin or damaged hair, I cannot recommend this range enough. Have you tried any Joico products before? You can find the full range here. What do you think of volumising hair products, let me know! 9.5/10 ♥
