netflix - the boxing day playlist ♥

I don't know about you but Boxing Day at my house is spent eating left over Christmas dinner and party food with lots of dip. Although I won't be spending Christmas at home this year, I wanted to make a Netflix guide for Boxing Day. We always spend the day glued to the TV and we usually watch a few family favourites. Netflix is certainly a heavenly invention if you have to cater to your family from kids programmes to classic British sitcoms, the choices are endless. Home Alone
I will be totally honest, I only watched Home Alone last year. It was officially the first time I had seen it, despite growing up in the 90's. Even though I hadn't seen the entire film growing up, I think everyone knows the plot. Kevin McCallister is accidentally left at home for Christmas when his parents fly to Paris and while he is enjoying the freedom of being at home by himself, two burglars break into the house and the craziness begins. This is definitely a Christmas movie favourite for most people, including adults and kids although Ifound it quite strange watching Joe Pesci in Goodfellas then flicking over to Home Alone... 
Woody Allen voices Z, a socially awkward ant who always runs into trouble. He accidentally kidnaps the princess, becomes a fugitive and discovers a big conspiracy - pretty big stuff for an ant, right? Although this is aimed at children, I think the dry, sarcastic humour makes this film funny for all ages and I have lost count how many times I have watched it. The film also stars Jennifer Lopez and Sylvester Stallone. 
Shawshank Redemption 
This isn't really a film to watch with children but this film is one of my favourites. It is gripping from start to finish and if you are looking for a Boxing Day movie to sit back, eat and listen to Morgan Freeman then you've found your winner. The plot revolves around Andy Dufresne, a banker who has been convicted of murdering his wife after discovering she was having an affair. Although he protests his innocence the entire time, he is found guilty and sent to Shawshank State Penitentiary where he meets Red, played by Morgan Freeman. The story shows a brutal image of prison life and the struggle Andy faces. It really is emotional and some of the scenes are incredibly iconic. If you haven't watched Shawshank Redemption I definitely recommend you turn on Netflix now. 
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
I made my boyfriend watch this film a few weeks ago and after five minutes he didn't want to turn it off. I know for many people Jim Carrey is like marmite, you either love his style of comedy or you don't but Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events is just magic. It is definitely family friendly and although the title gives a pretty big indication that the plot is quite dark, the film is comedy gold and the plot is incredibly gripping. The plot is based on 3 orphans having to live with their distant relative, Count Olaf, played by Carrey. He intends to steal their fortune and the craziness begins as they try to escape.

Before I jetted off to enjoy the sunny views in Australia, I was contacted by Glasses Shop to see if I would like to try out a pair of sunglasses. I am obsessed with sunglasses so I jumped at the chance and I picked the Antonia Cat Eye* style. I have had a tricky history with finding sunglasses in the past, I find it quite hard to find sunglasses to suit my face shape. Shopping for glasses online and prescription glasses has been made pretty easy with Glasses Shop though, especially when you can upload a photo of yourself to model the sunglasses.

christmas gift guide - her ♥

Last minute shopping is never fun, especially around Christmas time but every year I leave my shopping later and later. This year I wanted to inspire myself and hopefully some of you with what presents to buy. I noticed after making this collage that quite a few products were nude, so I went with the flow and taa-dah! I'm pretty impressed with the final outcome. Anyway, let's get to it - my Christmas gift guide for her. I am obsessed with candles at the moment nd I think Jo Malone has such beautiful packaging, very subtle but also timeless. 

For fragrances, I am really eager to try the Chanel perfume I think the candle and perfume would look beautiful on my dressing table! I also found a beautiful silk blouse from Zara (the bottom row) and I instantly fell in love, this would look great with a pair of leather trousers or a skinny jeans. Whether you buy one classic item like a watch or a pair of shoes, asking for a second opinion is always a great starting point if you are unsure! What do you think of my Christmas gift guide? netflix - the cheesy playlist ♥

It is time for another Netflix post! This week I wanted to talk about my favourite cheesy films, anything that involves The Spice Girls or Cher is pretty much dreamy for me. I have recently put together quite a few Netflix playlists, including superhero flicks, romance films, feel good shows and my top tearjerker films. I remember watching Burlesque in the cinema during my last year at university, I also remember spilling my nacho's down my top and sulking for the rest of the film. Stepping aside from my love of nacho's, I also have a lot of love for Burlesque. It is completely cringey and fantastic. Cher is just magic and she looks incredible throughout. The plot is based around Ali, played by Christina Aguilera, she is a small town girl who moves to Los Angeles looking for her big singing break and she finds a popular club named Burlesque. After the owner of Burlesque, Tess, played by Cher, discovers that Ali can sing, she transforms Burlesque into a club with dancing and live singing and tries to keep the club open. It definitely has very cheesy moments with the romance plot between Tess and the bartender, Jack so it is definitely at the top of my top cheesy film list. 
Spice World
I literally squealed with excitement when I saw that the Spice World movie had been added to Netflix. This film is one of my favourites and I have no idea what the plot really is but it is just madness and 90's fun mixed together. I would watch this film constantly growing up and I remember being so confused why Posh spice kept trying to find a 'Gucci' dress. 
Legally Blonde
If you are going through a painful breakup or if you just love Reese Witherspoon like me, Legally Blonde is perfect for you. After being dumped, Elle Woods (played by Reese) tries to join law school to gain a degree so she can win back her ex-boyfriend. To everyone's surprise, she passes the law school exam and even assists on a murder case. This is certainly a feel good film and it is packed with comedy and a perfect amount of cheese. 
For me, the Twilight saga borders on romance and cheese...with a dash of cringe but I absolutely love the films and I have a love/hate relationship watching them. Kristen Stewart trying to act can be quite painful to watch (the hospital bed scene is golden) but I love the plot and this film really reminds me of being a teenager and going through the awkward stage of becoming an adult - minus any vampires...unfortunately. Growing up watching Buffy has really made me appreciate real villains and strong storylines and although Twilight doesn't touch the Buffy series, it still makes a great Netflix duvet day.

black snakeskin zara bag ♥

I have already scheduled my New Year's resolution blog post for this year and one of my new rules for 2017 is to treat myself once a month. I've started this rule slightly earlier than January and I have recently bought this gorgeous black, crossbody bag from Zara. For £80 this is slightly more than I would pay for a basic shoulder bag that isn't from a designer brand but I absolutely love the style and I think this is a great copy of the Boy Chanel bag. The material is made from real leather and the fabric feels like a soft suede even though it has a subtle snakeskin print. You can wear this bag at two different lengths, one length is at hip level and then you can change the chain strap to a slightly shorter length. There is not much room in the actual bag but I am not really the best judge, I am used to carrying a giant make-up bag with me. 

The bag includes two compartments and a small zip pocket inside so I don't mind the smaller space because I actually wanted a smaller bag for once and although it doesn't fit 20 make-up items, it still can fit my purse, keys, phone, powder, lip gloss, eyeshadow, eyeliner and my car keys - so pretty much the essentials. I am aware I over pack make-up into my bags... I've used this bag a few times already but I am still putting the paper back inside the bag to keep the shape. what to wear to a christmas party ♥

It has been quite a while since I made a 'how to wear' post, I am usually more into beauty, but I really enjoying putting outfit posts together. So many of my friends are having their Christmas work do's but sadly I didn't have one this year but I thought this post might help some of you. Personally, I find it hard dressing for work events because I'm used to wearing more casual and fitted outfits for nights out but for more formal events, I personally think dresses can still look fitted without being too over the top. I absolutely love this green dress from Topshop, green is certainly a Christmas shade and the gold accessories definitely seal the deal for me.

For this look, I don't think you can go wrong with a classic black dress, I love the design of this dress, it is actually in the sale too! I would keep the heels plain and just keep the focus on the dress, nude heels are certainly a winner for me. For make-up, I think a pop of red would really spice things up and make your outfit look very festive yet glam. I love the Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick, if you find it tricky applying red lipstick then I think this is a great starting point. false lashes - peaches & cream and red cherry ♥

I think 99% of my time I talk about false lashes. I really do have a lash obsession and I honestly believe that lashes are all you need to give your make-up a serious touch of glamour. I was so excited when False Eyelashes sent me a pair of the Red Cherry lashes* in the style Stevi #43 and the Peaches & Cream individual lashes in 15mm*. I think it is lovely that you can go online and find the right lash design to suit you without having to spend too much. Now I think some lashes can look really harsh but the whispy lash style is flawless, I couldn't believe how natural the Red Cherry lashes looked and because they are made from human hair, this adds extra quality to the overall look. They look like high quality lashes and that is certainly what you get when you apply them. I found the lashes really light and I was able to use tweezers and carefully place them on my lash line without any hassle, because the strip is very thin, you can really control how close you want your lashes to your own lash line. For the Peaches & Cream individual lashes, I actually featured them in my current favourite's post earlier in the week. I have always felt intimidated by the individual lashes but I found the Peaches & Cream pack incredibly easy to apply and I love how dramatic my eyes looked! Do you prefer individual lashes or strip lashes? hairapeutix - the miracle hair mask ♥

It has been pretty impossible not to see Hairapeutix* on social media. I have heard such amazing things about this brand and I was really excited when they sent me a pack to try for myself. The packets were originally created to give hair extensions some TLC but you can also use the masks on your natural hair as a pre-shampoo treatment. Packed with organic ingredients and natural oils, Hairapeutix sounds pretty dreamy so far! The oils actually include avocado and coconut oil so I couldn't wait to get the mask on my hair. The smell is just addictive, I was really impressed with how fresh and natural the mask smelt and I found it really easy to apply to my hair. I am really trying hard to avoid using my hairdryer but it can become really frizzy without heat. After applying the mask earlier this week, it really made a dramatic difference to the state of my natural hair. When it dried naturally, it certainly didn't feel as frizzy and I was shocked at how soft my ends were. I really can't believe the effect it had on my hair after one use. current beauty favourites ♥

Hi girls, I hope your week is going well. I only have a week left until I am Australia bound! I will be doing a post about my packing essentials but I wanted to round up a few product favourites today. Some products are slightly new to my beauty routine but the YSL lipstick has been a firm favourite for quite a few years now. Let me know if you would like a monthly round-up of the top four products that I have been using! When I am deciding what products to feature in my favourite posts, I am usually reaching for the product I've suddenly been using non stop or a product I have fallen back in love with again. The Ariana Grande perfume will always be a fragrance that I can't get enough of! ♥ 

Peaches and Cream Individual Lashes 15mm*
After having lash extensions in November, my lashes have felt really lonely without them and I am determined to create a similar look. For some reason I have always been intimidated by individual lashes, they seem so tricky compared to strip lashes but I have fallen in love with the individual lashes from Peaches and Cream. Although it takes slightly longer, I found that I could really control how thick and dramatic I wanted my lashes to look. I definitely recommend watching Lisa Eldridge's tutorial on lash extensions, it certainly helped me.

Ari by Ariana Grande 
I've been slightly quiet about my Ariana obsession this month, I was lucky enough to open Ari by Ariana Grande for Christmas last year and I have been a fan ever since. Stepping away from the gorgeous bottle design, I love that the scent contains a sweet floral note with a slight hint of marshmallow. If you are looking for a pretty display on your dressing table, it doesn't get much better than this. You can read my full review on the Ariana perfume here. 

YSL Rogue Volupte Shine lipstick 
I am really not a pink lipstick kind of girl, I usualy wear nude shades and warm brown tones but for some reason I have been dabbing this YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick on my lips all week. This shade is called 114 and annoyingly I can't seem to find it online but I think 06 Pink Devotion is a very similar match. It adds a fresh pop of colour and although I think it would suit a fairer skin tone, it certainly works on my lips and even my cheeks. I just cannot fault the packaging, it is literally perfection and I can't get enough of the YSL brand. 

Look Good Feel Better Foundation Brush* 
As I mentioned in my previous post, I love having a fully covered face but foundations only work well if they are applied with the right tools. I personally prefer using foundation brushes because I love being able to 'paint' on the product. This particular foundation brush from Look Good Feel Better* is one of my favourites right now, the handle is wooden and the bristles are synthetic but they are still incredibly soft. I find it really easy to work into my skin without leaving any harsh orange marks and the long handle really makes the brush easy to use!

netflix - the romance playlist ♥

It is time for another Netflix post! This week I wanted to talk about my favourite romance films, yes I am not a big fan of the romance genre but I do have a few secret favourites. I have recently put together quite a few Netflix playlists, including superhero films, feel good shows and my tearjerker list. Let me know if you are looking for a particular genre! Okay, it is pretty hard not to include Titanic on my Netflix playlist. This is certainly one of my favourite films and even though I have watched it 34545 times, I always cry...without fail. I first watched this film when I was around 10 years old and that it when my Leonardo Dicaprio obsession began. If you aren't aware of the Titanic story, (who isn't?!) then the film is based around explorers trying to find a rare diamond necklace called 'The Heart of the Ocean' on the sunken ship - instead of finding the necklace, they find a safe with a portrait of a young woman, this makes the news and a very old lady named Rose contacts the explorers and reveals that she is the young woman in the portrait. The story flashes back to 1912 and she reveals a love story between herself and Jack Dawson, a poor artist played by Leonardo Dicaprio. As we all know, the story doesn't have a happy ending but it is still one of my favourite romance films.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
I know the Twilight saga is not everyone's cup of tea but I do love watching Edward and Jacob, it is incredibly cheesy but if you are looking for teen romance with a supernatural twist, I give you the Twilight series. Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart, falls in love with Edward Cullen, a non human eating vampire, and the story revolves around Bella wanting to become a vampire too. The Eclipse story line revolves around Victoria, the vampire girlfriend of James, trying to build an army to kill Bella after Edward killed James in the first Twilight movie. It is a really easy plot to follow and it is definitely a lazy Sunday kind of film.
This is probably one of my favourite films of all time. I have lost count how many times I have watched it and also bawled my eyes out. Sam Wheat, played by Patrick Swayze is murdered down an alley by a mugger and he comes back as a ghost. He tries to solve the reason behind his murder and he tries to protect his girlfriend Molly Jensen. Whoopi Goldberg really makes this film for me, she certainly deserved her Oscar!

The Thing Called Love
During the height of my River Phoenix obsession, I discovered the film, The Thing Called Love. It is also another cheese fest but River is a dream to watch. The plot revolves around Miranda Presley, a country singer trying to get noticed and she meets James, played by River Phoenix. This certainly isn't an oscar worthy film and it got slated pretty bad at the box office but it is definitely an easy watch and the love triangle plot is pretty fun viewing.

let's talk about foundation ♥

It's been a while since I spoke about my foundation routine and what my favourite products are. I cannot live without foundation, it completely transforms my skin and just evens out my patchy complexion. As I mentioned earlier this week in my money saving blog post, I do use quite a few foundations. I use the NYC Skin Matching Luminizer as my work foundation - I don't mind using this everyday while I'm at my desk and for £3 it really does create lovely coverage and a warm glow to my skin without needing to add anything else. If I am going on holiday or tanning at the weekend, I will use a dash of the MAC Pro Longwear liquid foundation. I actually bought this foundation at the airport and the MAC make-up artist was absolutely awful at matching my skin. I walked away with this shade and it is far too dark for my actual skin tone so to make sure it doesn't go to waste, I simply add a few drops to my regular foundation if I want to go slightly darker. I used this shade when I went to New York and although it blended perfectly and provided gorgeous thick coverage, it just looked far too orange on my skin. 

Having your boyfriend call you an 'oompa loompa' for the entire holiday is not a plus point in my book...although I can't use the MAC foundation on my skin by itself, I can add a few pumps to my regular foundation if I want a slightly darker look. For the foundation I use out of the office, I mix the Stila Stay All Day Foundation and the Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid foundation together. I cannot express how much I love the Stila foundation, it is probably one of the first foundations to give me flawless coverage and it does not look oily a few hours later. It really does live up to its name and I definitely recommend this foundation if you want to jazz up your make-up routine. This is certainly a foundation I will keep buying and buying. The Maybelline Dream Satin foundation is another gem that I love using when I am running to an event or a night out with the girls, it has a better formula than NYC just because the texture is incredibly easy to blend into your skin and it looks very subtle and soft. The Maybelline and Stila Stay All Day foundations are certainly my top 2 foundations that I will always purchase, I feel really confident wearing them without any other products. christmas gift guide - him ♥

I'm not sure whether I have put together a Christmas gift guide for him in the past few years but I have had quite a few ideas for presents recently. I wanted to make a nice selection of gift guides (you can find my Disney, interior and Boots gift guides here) and a brother/boyfriend/dad/uncle gift guide seems like a pretty good idea. Depending on your budget, I think aftershaves make great gifts whether it is for Christmas or for birthdays. Last Christmas I bought my boyfriend the Creed aftershave, now this is slightly pricey for £230 but he absolutely loves the smell and it is his go to scent. My boyfriend actually travels quite a bit for work so this automatically makes me think of grooming products that he can use on the go, especially wash bags. I love this B Men wash bag from Superdrug, it pretty much does everything it says on the tin and it includes a handy zip. What presents will you be buying for the men in your life? body confidence and stress at christmas ♥

For today's post I wanted to confess that usually around this time of year I start to over relax and I end up eating the Christmas tree and also my mums entire fridge. I don't know why but as soon as December hits, my winter body pops up and I cannot stop eating junk food. Although I have been trying to eat healthy and also visit the gym, I still seem to be snacking and snacking and if you didn't know from my Twitter or Instagram, I will be flying out to Australia for 2 weeks on the 17th. The thought of being in a swimsuit while being in winter mode is quite scary but surprisingly I'm quite relaxed. I was sent the Christmas edition of Sarah Knight's book The Life Changing Magic of Not Giving A F*** from the lovely Quercus team and since reading it in early August, my attitude has really started to change. 

I am no longer worrying about fitting into that Victoria Secret's bikini or how perfect my selfies are. We are bombarded daily with perfectly airbrushed photos whether we are on the Daily Mail, Instagram or Twitter and it can be really draining looking but I am looking past all of this and I am just excited to relax and enjoy Australia. Life is far too short to spend your time worrying and I certainly don't want to miss out enjoying the little moments simply because I ate a three mince pie's for breakfast. I hope you can relate to my ramble, I definitely recommend you pick up a copy of Sarah Knight's book, she covers everything, from wedding day stress to conference calls at work. It definitely reminds you about what is important in life and not to worry about things you can't control and to enjoy Christmas with your family and friends ♥

cargo essentials eyeshadow palette ♥

Hi girls, I realised that I haven't spoken about my eye make-up routine other than my favourite lash brands, so I wanted to let you know I have recently been using the Cargo Essentials Eye Shadow Palette*. I was kindly sent the palette to try and if you are looking for a natural, wearable palette you've come to the right place. I find it very rare when 99% of eyeshadow colours are used in a palette, especially when I always leave 60% of colours untouched. I have had an odd history with palettes in the past and I'll be honest - bright green or purple shades do not touch my eyelids. I have seen millions of tutorials where the shades look lovely but on me personally, I am very simple when it comes to my eyeshadow colours. I was amazed when I opened up this Cargo palette because the shades are so incredibly wearable and right up my street.

After doing my research on the kit, I was impressed to find out that the shades are actually inspired by urban architecture. The 12 shades really do have you covered, my most used shades are definitely Hub and Brownstone, they are perfect for creating a soft smokey eye. I am not too keen on using Industry but if you are looking for a deep blue shade, the pigmentation is fabulous and really easy to blend. Besides from 12 shades, the kit also includes a dual ended brush and a black kohl eye liner. I love that this kit includes an eyeliner, it is definitely a nice surprise and it fits perfectly in the palette. Have you tried any of the Cargo range before? #tiptalk - make-up and money ♥

For today's post I wanted to talk about money and make-up. In particular, my money saving tips for make-up and what products I think are worth splurging on and what cheaper products I don't mind using. I'm sure not all of you will agree with my list but hopefully some of these points will help someone when it comes to saving money, especially when we are juggling Christmas shopping for everyone else too! 

I remember one of my old friends at secondary school telling me that foundation is the one product that you should always spend money on. I never really understood why but after years of jumping from foundation to foundation I have certainly learnt the difference between a £1 foundation compared to a £35 foundation and definitely how to make the most of both. Although it sounds straight forward, I do believe you can find lovely foundations without having to spend a fortune. 

When it comes to buying my foundation I usually wait until Maybelline is on offer at Superdrug and I will also buy the Maybelline Falsies Push Up mascara too. You certainly save a bit more and you can always stock up on other products from the range. My biggest tip for saving money on foundation is to have two different types. I have a work foundation which is slightly cheaper and I use this everyday when I am heading to my office. The NYC Skin Matching Luminizer Foundation is ideal for £3 but the coverage is still lovely and it lasts me for months. I think the range may be discontinued in a few shops but I bought this earlier in the year. For nights out and events I use my Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer and the MAC Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation. They are slightly more expensive than the NYC foundation but I only use MAC and Stila 20% out of the week. It has definitely made a difference to my foundation spending and I could not imagine now having my Stila foundation, it is certainly one of my favourite brands! 

Boots and Superdrug points 
Last month I made a blog post about being organised, this began with remembering my points cards. I usually buy my lunch from Boots everyday so I am definitely seeing the benefits of using a points card. I earned £17 worth of points on my card and I was able to buy a new foundation, mascara and a powder this weekend and I was also able to earn more points simply because I remembered to check my purse for my cards before popping into Boots and Superdrug! 

Finding dupes online or on the high street is a beautiful thing. Sure, a few dupes that I have bought maybe don't match up to the quality or pigmentation but the colour matches can be pretty similar. Primark is pretty much the queen at selling good quality make-up dupes, I actually bought the oval brush dupes for £6.50 instead of spending £50 to £280 on the actual brush brand, Artis. Just because I'll buy a cheaper version of a product doesn't mean I won't maybe buy the original product in the future but when it comes to saving money, dupes certainly help. After starting my Netflix series a few weeks ago, I am back with another post. This week I wanted to talk about my favorite superhero/comic based films on Netflix. I am trying to keep this playlist more Netflix based simply because it is easier for you to watch, if you have Netflix of course. If we are skating away from Netflix, the Batman films would certainly be on this list but I'm trying to just stick to Netflix for today. My tearjerker Netflix post seemed quite popular last week so I really love that some of you are interested in film/TV blog posts on Fairytale Kiss! This is certainly a family favourite, I have lost count how many times I have seen this film, it certainly keeps me entertained and it is pretty hard not to like! The plots focuses on mutants and the battle between mankind accepting them or...not. Filmed in 2000, the effects and the CGI are pretty impressive and the X-Men characters are pretty much nailed in my opinion. I actually prefer X-Men 2 but this is still a brilliant introduction to the X-Men saga.
The Avengers
Anything that has been written and directed by Joss Whedon is perfect in my eyes. There are so many things that I love about this film and I think it really boils down to the relationship between the characters. The script is flawless and incredibly witty and I made my dad watch the film a few months ago, now before watching the film he explained that he is not a 'sci-fi or comic' fan but he was soon hooked after the first 10 minutes. The Avengers plot revolves around Loki, the villain of the film, he promises to deliver the Tessseract to a bunch of aliens (yep, pretty much...) in exchange for an army to defeat earth. Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, enlists the help of Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America and a few more superheroes to defeat Loki and protect the world. The humour in the film is just perfect and I can't recommend The Avengers enough.
Fantastic 4
If you are looking for a relaxing film to put on while you eat junk food in bed, Fantastic 4 is pretty perfect for this. It really isn't the most iconic film in the superhero category, like The Dark Knight trilogy, but I don't think every films needs to be deep and meaningful, sometimes it is just fun to watch something light hearted. Although some scenes try and pull at your heartstrings, Fantastic 4 will always be a cheesy, feel good action film - definitely a fun one to watch if you have children or younger siblings too. The film begins with four experts (each experts in either science or in particular space) and they travel to space to test Dr. Reed's theory that evolution is linked to clouds of cosmic energy. They are all given unique super powers when the cloud hits them, Victor Von Doom (the money man behind this little space trips), decides to use his new super powers for darker purposes.
If you have read the Watchmen comics then you will know that the film release wasn't very popular with die hard fans, but I absolutely loved the film and I'm pretty sure Silk Spectre should let me keep her costume. The film is based in 1985 and history is slightly different, a superhero is found murdered and Rawshack, a retired superhero, tries to find out the reason behind it. There are quite a few plot twists and the film completely changes into a big conspiracy theory. Zack Snyder has a really wonderful way of directing this film and visually, each scene could be a work of art. Rorschach is certainly the most interesting character, I really wish they would make a film purely based on his storyline.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier 
I think this is a very rare example of a sequel increasing in popularity, but I think there has been more excitement about this film, compared to the original Captain America movie which was released in 2011. I'll be honest and admit that I haven't seen all of Captain America: The First Avenger but you can pretty much figure the Winter Solider plot out without recently seeing the first film. I saw this in the cinema and I was pretty impressed with the fight scene choreography and the plot twists.

astral original ♥

The winter weather is dramatically affecting my skin so I need to switch up my skin care routine. When Astral* contacted me, I was very curious to see whether I could use the moisturiser as an actual face primer before I applied my foundation and as a face mask before I got into bed. If you haven't heard of Astral, the brand has been around for almost 64 years, my nan and mum both used the moisturiser growing up. There are so many uses for Astral and we all know I love products that have more than one use.The packaging is pretty sturdy and the size is really handbag friendly, I have been keeping it in my bag for the past few weeks and I love that you don't have to worry about anything leaking or damaging any other make-up products that are also floating in your bag. 

I was curious to see if the 50ml would be enough to apply to my face and dry areas (my elbows and hands are very dry right now!) but I only needed a small amount because the moisturiser is really easy to blend into your skin and the coverage is very thick. I am loving the thick formula and it is definitely a must have against the horrible British weather. After cleansing my face, I have been gently applying Astral on my face and neck and really blending it into my skin. I have found that my foundation glides on much easier and it doesn't look patchy whatsoever. I really wasn't expecting the formula to work as a primer! dragonfly tea - green tea ♥

With the icy, winter weather now here I love nothing better than to enjoy a healthy tea. I'm not a big fan of a traditional British tea - the whole 'milk and two sugars' routine is not really my thing but I am obsessed with green tea's. They can taste so refreshing and I think you can certainly enjoy a green tea during any season, summer or winter. When Dragonfly Tea contacted me, I was so excited to try the Jade Orchid Green Tea* and the Lemongrass and Ginger Infusion* and if you thought tea could be boring, think again - I am obsessed with the Dragonfly Tea packaging! I could not wait to get snapping and I was even more surprised how jazzy the tea bags looked inside. A box contains 15 large leaf pyramids (30g) and I actually used one tea bag for two cups. I may have picked the Jade tea purely because of my name...I am easily pleased.

I was certainly not disappointed, if you fancy a tea that is light and sweet, the Jade Orchid Green Tea is your best option. It really tastes fresh without being too sickly. This is definitely a good option if you are looking for a cosy PJ night with your duvet and Netflix. There are so many different flavours to choose from, it can be tricky to know what you want. I am really looking for products that help me detox and feel fresh, I can have a few too many cheat days so I love that ginger tea is a great tool for cleansing your digestive system. I am really impressed with the range and its nice that you can create a 'London afternoon tea experience' simply by using the kettle in your own kitchen. I think it's a lovely way to start your morning, especially if you need to keep warm in the winter weather! How do you like to start your morning? get the look - gigi hadid ♥

Okay, I just had to make another post about the Victoria's Secret Show. How can I do a Kendall Get the Look post without including her bestie too?! Gigi's Press Room look is certainly different from Kendall's, there is a lot of shimmer and gold/bronze shades used and she really does look incredible. I've kept the products based on Makeup Revolution again purely because I am obsessed with the brand! Let's start with eyes, I would really recommend using the Makeup Revolution Redemption palette, the shades are very similar to Gigi's eyeshadow and you can certainly blend them together to create the same look. You can also add a pop of the Radiance Palette to the eyes for extra shimmer. I think her make-up artist has used a very subtle coral toned lipstick on her lips, the I Heart Makeup Lip Lava tube is a pretty close match, especially if you add a touch of the lipstick underneath. get the look - kendall jenner ♥

It's my favourite time of year again - the iconic Victoria's Secret show and the beautiful Kendall Jenner certainly didn't disappoint. After making her VS debut last year, I was really curious to see if her look would change in 2016. I would say she is the most natural out of the Kardashian/Jenner clan and I love her figure, she really does have the longest legs! For today's get the look, I wanted to feature a high street brand, if you would like more high end brands let me know but I personally love Make-Up Revolution, they always have such high quality products and the range is so affordable! To create Kendall's dewy skin, I would definitely recommend using a primer. 

It will make sure that your skin has the perfect base before you apply your concealer and foundation, I know Kendall does suffer for the occasional spot but her make-up artist has made her skin look photo shoppedAfter looking at countless photos of Kendall at the press room, I think her lips really stood out to me the most. I love that she is wearing a glossy lip and to recreate the colour, I would use a mixture of two lip liners to get a similar subtle dusky pink shade. The Makeup Revolution Amazing Clear Lipgloss would certainly do the trick and I can't believe it is only £1! Her lips certainly complement her eye make-up and the overall Victoria's Secret look.
