I have to admit, I can be slightly particular when it comes to buying beauty products. I am really sceptical about branching out and trying new things so I think that Latest In Beauty is a great way to introduce yourself to new products and new brands. With the first Latest In Beauty collaboration with Glamour magazine, I instantly fell in love with the products, you can find my review here. When it was announced that a second box by Glamour magazine was being released, I bought it straight away! These products in total, are worth over £40 so for £14.95 (plus P&P) you really do get great value for your money. I will be doing more detailed reviews on the mousse and mascara. I really recommend this box, especially when you want to mix up your products a bit! 10/10. Lets start with what's inside.. ♥
Burt's Bees Beesewax Lip Blam - I'll put my hands up and admit I have never tried any of their products before, I know how popular they are but I've never really got around to buying them. So, when I tried this lip balm for the first time I was surprised what a nice matte finish it had on my lips. I hate lip balms that have a greasy feel to them, so Burt's Bees did the job just right!
Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Eyeliner in Aqua Velvet - Out of the whole box, this product is the one product I won't use as much. I don't think blue will really suit my normal make-up routine, but the point of these boxes are to branch out so I'll let you know how I get on with using it! It is such a gorgeous blue shade and I have been a fan of Daniel Sandler's products for a while now (his contouring kit is my life!) but I would have preferred a brown or purple liner.
The Invisibobble Traceless Hair Rings - A girl in my office is obsessed with these, she will have them around her wrist 24/7 in case of emergencies. I never really understood the difference from regular hair bands but after using these hair rings for a few days, I can't get enough of them! They are super cute and leave your hair kink free. I noticed straight away that it didn't pull at my hair (I get awful headaches from using hair bands) so I really think this is a cute idea!
Cheeky Chat Me Up Nail Paint - Perfectly timed for the slow arrival of spring, I think that every girl needs a coral pink shade! Tongue 'n' Cheek is a really pretty colour that doesn't chip. I think this shade will be huge in the spring/summer so I definitely think this is a winner!
L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara - The packaging alone is super cute, I love the name and design of this mascara so I am excited to try it. There has been a huge buzz about this baby, so I will let you know how I get on with it. We all know I am usually a comb style mascara girl so I will be branching out to use a bristle based mascara brush. I will be doing a separate review so we can see whether this mascara lives up to the hype! :)
Percy & Reed Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Mousse - I have only recently started to get the hang of blow drying my hair, I have stepped away from my straighteners and invested in a few volumising products (I will be doing a review on the VO5 volume spray this week). So, mousse is a great tool for getting thick hair that actually lasts throughout the day. I have never really been a big mousse fan, purely because I've just had flat, straight hair, but I will let you know how I get on with this Percy & Reed bottle. Say hello to big hair!
Rituals Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel - Finally, we have this shower gel. I get too excited by shower gels that actually foam - it makes your skin feel incredibly soft and hello...foam! It smells gorgeous and I think it is just as relaxing as having a hot bath. Definitely a must have for every girls bathroom.
