down the rabbit hole ♥

I know what I'm like, March is arriving in a few days and by the time I put together my March wish list, it will be November. So I'm being proactive and putting together a list of what I want to buy. I've decided to mix in beauty, fashion and everything in between. Of course Zara, Max Factor and L'Oreal are on the top of my list. I'm obsessed! I still have not found a white leather jacket, I think I have been looking for one for quite some time now, let me know if you know where I can find one! Lets ignore the fact that it will apparently snow next week, this weather has been quite pleasant! I am really not used to seeing sunshine so I'm basing this wish list on pretty, spring colours! I have seen so many posts about this teenage runaway jumper - the gorgeous Leonardo Dicaprio wore one in the early 90's and it has found its way back into 2014. As you can see, I have quite a long list of things I want... I was going to try a spending ban this month but this might be a bit of a struggle now! What have you added to your wish list for March?

into the wild ♥

Okay, so a few weeks ago I reviewed this Maybelline Super Stay 24 Color in Cherry Pie - this is one of the best red lip products I have ever used on my lips, so naturally I went to try another Maybelline shade. I ended up buying shade 845 in Hot Brown from the Super Stay Bold Matte collection, now I think this is an amazing shade but it was slightly tacky. To start with, yes the colour is absolutely gorgeous - I am obsessed with nude shades and this is definitely the type of nude shade I usually wear.
I had no problem with the original Maybelline Super Stay range that I bought a few weeks back, I cannot praise that shade enough although the Hot Toast was slightly tacky, Maybelline have amazing lip products so this shade pigmentation definitely makes up for it. I also apply a light amount on top of my Rimmel Nude Delight lipstick to make my lips a lighter nude. Because my lips already have lipstick on them, it does not create a blotchy effect. I love using Hot Brown this way and it is a gorgeous shade that I can mix with my lipsticks. Have you used this shade before? I give the actual shade colour 9/10 but using the product by itself I give it 8.5/10 I cannot recommend Maybelline products enough and I will be putting up a new post soon with my favourite Maybelline nail polishes! Have a lovely afternoon girls :) ♥

catch me if you can ♥

I have to admit, I can be slightly particular when it comes to buying beauty products. I am really sceptical about branching out and trying new things so I think that Latest In Beauty is a great way to introduce yourself to new products and new brands. With the first Latest In Beauty collaboration with Glamour magazine, I instantly fell in love with the products, you can find my review here. When it was announced that a second box by Glamour magazine was being released, I bought it straight away! These products in total, are worth over £40 so for £14.95 (plus P&P) you really do get great value for your money. I will be doing more detailed reviews on the mousse and mascara. I really recommend this box, especially when you want to mix up your products a bit! 10/10. Lets start with what's inside..

Burt's Bees Beesewax Lip Blam - I'll put my hands up and admit I have never tried any of their products before, I know how popular they are but I've never really got around to buying them. So, when I tried this lip balm for the first time I was surprised what a nice matte finish it had on my lips. I hate lip balms that have a greasy feel to them, so Burt's Bees did the job just right!

Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Eyeliner in Aqua Velvet - Out of the whole box, this product is the one product I won't use as much. I don't think blue will really suit my normal make-up routine, but the point of these boxes are to branch out so I'll let you know how I get on with using it! It is such a gorgeous blue shade and I have been a fan of Daniel Sandler's products for a while now (his contouring kit is my life!) but I would have preferred a brown or purple liner.

The Invisibobble Traceless Hair Rings - A girl in my office is obsessed with these, she will have them around her wrist 24/7 in case of emergencies. I never really understood the difference from regular hair bands but after using these hair rings for a few days, I can't get enough of them! They are super cute and leave your hair kink free. I noticed straight away that it didn't pull at my hair (I get awful headaches from using hair bands) so I really think this is a cute idea!

Cheeky Chat Me Up Nail Paint - Perfectly timed for the slow arrival of spring, I think that every girl needs a coral pink shade! Tongue 'n' Cheek is a really pretty colour that doesn't chip. I think this shade will be huge in the spring/summer so I definitely think this is a winner!

L'Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga Mascara - The packaging alone is super cute, I love the name and design of this mascara so I am excited to try it. There has been a huge buzz about this baby, so I will let you know how I get on with it. We all know I am usually a comb style mascara girl so I will be branching out to use a bristle based mascara brush. I will be doing a separate review so we can see whether this mascara lives up to the hype! :)

Percy & Reed Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Mousse - I have only recently started to get the hang of blow drying my hair, I have stepped away from my straighteners and invested in a few volumising products (I will be doing a review on the VO5 volume spray this week). So, mousse is a great tool for getting thick hair that actually lasts throughout the day. I have never really been a big mousse fan, purely because I've just had flat, straight hair, but I will let you know how I get on with this Percy & Reed bottle. Say hello to big hair!

Rituals Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom Foaming Shower Gel - Finally, we have this shower gel. I get too excited by shower gels that actually foam - it makes your skin feel incredibly soft and hello...foam! It smells gorgeous and I think it is just as relaxing as having a hot bath. Definitely a must have for every girls bathroom.
