It's my new thing to be "spontaneous" - so while I was in my pj's watching Arrested Development I decided to dye my hair a reddish colour. Mahogany 550 to be exact ;) I didn't want anything too drastic because I wasn't too sure whether I could actually pull this look off! I only left on the hair colour for 15 minutes, simply because I didn't want it too drastic...this still counts as being spontaneous! I knew I wanted to find a colour from the L'Oreal range, I've used the L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss before with the more chocolate based shades to keep my brunette hair more fresh! The application is super easy to apply, simply keep your hair damp and towel dry, then apply to the roots, and the rest of your hair. I do recommend focusing on the underneath of your hair, it would look slightly strange if you have a pony tail with half brunette and half mahogany... What do you think of this shade? I'll be doing full photos this week, I need to readjust my make-up slightly - this shade can make your skin tone look slightly paler so I'm blusher and bronzer bound ;) I am so happy with this colour, let me know if you've used this shade before! ♥

It's been a while since I put together a wish list and last night I spent the majority of my evening flicking through the glossy magazines so I definitely need to show you what I'm loving at the moment! First of all, Katy Perry's Killer Queen fragrance is on my hit list! I went to Boot's yesterday and they popped in the back of the storeroom and let me see the packaging and scent. I want to do a separate review on this fragrance, simply because I could ramble on for paragraphs. Another thing on this wish list includes the red Topshop dress, I am finally returning back to my dress phase at the moment, I'm getting slightly bored of skirts.. I'm still on my hunt for a white leather jacket, remember when I posted one here - when I actually went to h&m to buy it, it was more cream than white... Let me know if you have any suggestions where I can find one! Also, I am really really dying for a pair of these 90's style heels - the only problem is my feet never stay in them! -__- What is on your wish list for August, let me know what your favourite item is :) ♥

The Very Very Pink scent (the light pink bottle) is a mixture between whitewood and Orange - the nail varnish shade is called Utopia, this is a nude grey shade. Definitely my favourite nail colour! I love that they have a good mixture of nail polish shades, I think these colours are really classic but especially that they match the Impulse bottles! For Sweet Smile, the scent is Pear, Mandarin and Jasmine. The nail polish shade is a lovely orange shade called Coral Reef. I really can’t praise this idea enough, this is only a limited edition offer though so make sure you pop down to Superdrug! Also, they are only £4 each so I would treat yourself and get all 3 ;) What do you think of this collaboration? What other brand would you like to see Impulse with? ♥

It's an understatement when I say I love food, but I think I can like it a little bit too much..I have such a bad habit of eating when I'm bored! Which as you can imagine, is not so good for the waistline :( I have tried a few diet drinks in my time but I can only compare the taste to dog food..not that I've tried dog food before, but you get the idea ;) So you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I tried the Skinny Sprinkles* range. Instead of eating a bag of crisps or chocolate, you simply mix a packet with water and voila! You have a delicious strawberry smoothie, which is only 21 calories. It basically tricks your stomach into thinking its full due to the ingredient Glucomannan. You can find Skinny Sprinkles here - I really recommend this smoothie if you pick at food like me! I've only started using it so I'll let you know how I get on, I think they are delicious and I've already resisted chocolate! :) Have you tried Skinny Sprinkles before? Let me know how you beat the boredom eating! ♥

Okay, I admit it - I have been terrible at using heat protectant sprays this year. The result? My hair is badly damaged from using my heated styling tools! It's my own fault and I've learnt my lesson but my hair is still in need of a lot of TLC. That's where the fabulous Neal and Wolf* range step in ;) The three particular products that I have been using for the past few weeks include the Smoothing Blow Dry balm, Daily Cleansing Shampoo and the Intensive Care Treatment. I explained my terrible hair dramas to the lovely team at Neal and Wolf and they suggested these three products to give my hair a little pick me up. First of all, these products smell incredible - they smell incredibly luxurious and glam..they smell better than the majority of perfumes I have in my cupboard right now!
I found that the shampoo lathered up very well and I could really feel my hair being cleansed properly - after using the conditioner and leaving it to sink into my hair, I already started to feel a difference. My hair feels incredibly smooth and silky without the crazy frizz ball tendencies, hurrah! I really can't rave enough about this brand, I really recommend these three particular products if you're hair is damaged and needs a pick me up. These products are definitely my favourite products for this month, I'm giving them a perfect ranking! Have you tried any Neal and Wolf products before? What are your tips for hair that is damaged? 10/10 ♥

It's safe to say I've fallen in love with these lip colours, the one thing I always struggle to find is a lipstick that has a high pigmentation. For my lips, I need a lot of colour for it to really show up and I'm not very keen on using concealer first to mute my natural lip shade. Beauty UK* has been a high street favourite of mine for a good few years now, I first fell in love with their nail varnishes and their eyeshadow palettes, but strangely I have never got around to their lipsticks! The three shades here are no.17 plumalicious (darkest shade), no. 14 cupcake (light pink) and no. 16 pink my ride (bright pink). As you can see from my swatches the pigmentation is absolutely incredible, the texture of the lip product is incredibly moisturising but it still delivers perfect colour and shine.
My personal favourite shade is the plumalicious - it's incredibly 90's ;) These really are a fantastic set of lipsticks and even though I've been trying a few designer shades lately, I really think the pigmentation is more impressive from these £3.49 lipsticks! Have you tried any Beauty UK lipsticks before? I really recommend this brand, especially the plumalicious shade ;) I'm going to pop into Superdrug tonight and get the shade naughty - it looks like an amazing red! I've been obsessed with the model from the Blurred Lines video and I'm determined to find a red lipstick that matches her one! What shades are you on the hunt for at the moment? Have a lovely afternoon girls, I give these lipsticks a big 9.5/10 :) Happy hunting! ♥

As you can see from the many pictures on Fairytale Kiss, I have a slight obsession with the Vampire Diaries - Nina Dobrev who plays Elena Gilbert is one of my top 5 girl crushes ;) What's not to love about her? She always looks flawless and at this years Teen Choice Awards, this was no exception. Wearing a J. Mendel playsuit paired with Dolce & Gabbana heels, Nina swooped up the award for the Choice TV actress in the Sci-Fi category. I absolutely love this outfit and I think her hair and make-up screams Hollywood glamour! It's incredibly chic and not too dramatic, so I think this look would be great as an everyday wear! Now I've picked pretty much all high street products for the make-up, except for the lashes. I think the Lash Boutique lashes really are a good find! They come with black glue, which is much better for using false lashes - the black glue helps blend the false lashes to your own ones without any mess or white dried glue!
Now, Nina has a very bronzed look so avoid using eyeliner or applying too much mascara, she looks very sunkissed and "naturally" done up. What stands out most for me is her cheeks, they look incredibly dewy so the new Bourjois creme blush is perfect for creating this look! For the hair, it can't get any simpler than this! Simply scrunch your hair with mousse when wet then gently dry with a hairdryer, then pop up into a high pony tail! Using a repair masque before hand will keep it looking smooth, I also recommend using the Phil Smith Curl cream to keep things not too frizzy! What do you think of Nina's Teen Choice Awards look? I think she looks amazing! Have a lovely afternoon girls, I have a few more reviews lined up this week so keep your eyes peeled! ;) ♥

Little Round Pot Blushers - but this wasn't the amazing bargain part. For some lovely reason, they were priced at just £2 each when they are usually priced around £7.50. If that wasn't enough, you also get a free pair of sunglasses and a case! So I bought 3 Bourjois blushers and a pair of sunglasses for just £4! (I did have to pay for in store delivery as well). As you can imagine the shades are quite limited at the moment so I was lucky enough to get fairly dark, bronze tones.
As I have quite dark features, I personally prefer more tanned shades against my skin tone, the shades I bought were 92 Santal and the slightly lighter shade 03 Brun Cuivre. First off, what I love most about Bourjois blushers is the packaging, they are so cute and dainty and I love how the colour of the blusher reflects the colour of the packaging. They really do look very stylish and cute! I love that they have a matte finish to them, so they work perfectly against my oily skin type! What is your favourite Bourjois blusher? Have you found any good bargains recently? ;) When putting this post together today, I did notice that Boots have bumped up the Bourjois blushers to £7.50 again. I'll post a link here if I find any cheaper blush prices! Have a lovely afternoon girls! ♥

Afternoon girls, how has your weekend been? I'm diving straight into the review today, my nail show reel finally came so you can really see the nail colours properly! Now, before we start with the review, I do want to say I got these OPI nail polishes in..um..Pound Land. So I'm not too sure whether they are 100% legit, but they have the exact packaging but two of the nail polishes didn't shatter..at all o_O For £1 each I'm not complaining at all, but I know OPI nail polishes do exactly what they say on the tin. So for this review, I'm not slating these nail polishes at all, purely because I did buy them from Pound Land and I can't be too sure if they are actual OPI. But they are gorgeous shades regardless so lets get on with the review! The green shade is called Shatter The Scales, the black is called Black Shatter and the pink is called Super Bass Shatter. I think these colours are gorgeous, the pink one is definitely my favourite, I think this will be perfect for Autumn, especially when you can really mix these colours together. I've seen quite a few people paint their nails a normal shade, then add a black shatter coat on top. Have you tried these OPI colours before? ♥

|Available on QVC and Beauty Bay|
You wait a few seconds and PING! The roller is heated up and you are good to go! The EGO Boost comes with 10 curlers where you have 3 different sizes to play around with, I generally go for the larger rollers in the middle of my hair to create volume rather than instant curls. I think they deliver gorgeous curls and I love how fresh and unique the packaging is! Rollers are my essential tool for a night out, the volume and body they give your hair really is amazing. The only downside is I wish they came with a few more rollers for my hair, but I do have a crazy lions mane so it can't be helped ;) Have you tried the EGO Boost rollers before? The are available on QVC today so make sure you give them a try ;) They are selling them for only £99! Have a lovely day girls, I give these rollers 9/10 ♥
