I've almost managed a whole week without any face make-up on, this indeed is a big step for me. Well, I say "no" face make-up, I do mean foundation and concealer. I've applied a light layer of powder on my t-zone just to banish any shine patches. It is strange that I can touch my face and not worry about any product coming onto my hands! For today's post I wanted to focus on the one product I couldn't give up, I am of course talking about lipsticks. I am a huge lipstick fan, especially with brown and red toned shades. I am quite particular when it comes to lipsticks because I think my skin tone and overall complexion is very partial to the type of lip product. The new winter collection from Bourjois really does fulfil my lipstick fetish! The Rouge Edition range really are unique shades, and best of all they are shimmer free!
For me personally, I really don't suit lipsticks that have pearl shine to them, matte is always the way forward ;) The three shades I have are 07 Fuchsia graffiti, 09 Orange pop-up and 02 Beige trench. The textures of the lipsticks is gorgeous and creamy, so as well as adding bold colour, they also moisturise your lips! I think my favourite shade has to be Orange pop-up, it adds instant warmth to my skin tone so all brunette's should definitely try this. To make a lipstick really pop (no pun intended) I usually have to put concealer over my lips first to actually mute my own lip pigment, but this Bourjois range adds cover easily without any hassle! Have you tried coral shades before? Let me know what you're favourite Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick is, I would definitely recommend it! Have a lovely evening girls ♥
I keep seeing this posts pop up for these lipsticks but I haven't seen one which has that beige trench shade and I love it, I was toying between the deep plum and the bright red ones but need a nudey shade! I love lipsticks which have a high creaminess to them! :) x
