Legally Blonde.

This is just a quick post for now to distract me from my piles of uni work, I'm currently listening to Toni Braxton's "He Wasn't Man Enough", while writing an article about nurseries...When I read it back, it almost sounds like I know what I'm talking about?! Haha :)

Anyway, this beautiful barbie doll dress is £25.99 from Zara, the only catch is that I don't know if they've just stopped selling it :( It really reminds me of the film Legally Blonde - Definitely something Elle Woods would wear ;)

As soon as I get paid I'll be running to investigate, oh and it's officially been 2 weeks on the "I have no money so I have to live off Muller yogurts" diet hahaha. I am DYING for some Nandos or KFC!

Anyway, tell me what do you think of the dress?

The "Boyfriend" Stealer.

Okay, so you've just woken up next to your perfect, amazingly sexy boyfriend who has promised to take you both on a long romantic road trip in his car once you both get out of bed.
You can play Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" as loud as you want while the breeze hits your boyfriend's hair perfectly - there's only one problem, you don't have any change of clothes. You know that if you run back to yours he will change his mind INSTANTLY....What's the problem? Steal his clothes dummy!

Now this is officially the first look I have made without the use of high heels..I hope your proud! As sad as it is to admit this, I don't own any flat shoes. I mean I have 1 pair of pumps for work but that's it.

The rest is heels, heels, heels baby!

I have never tried on a pair on Converse before but I think they work great with this look. Stealing your boyfriend's shirt is sexy and resourceful. Just wear it over a small vest top or on it's own and voila you have the start to your outfit! You can even try and steal some of his jewellery to make it more stylish. His Ray Ban sunglasses are the cherry on the cake - They make this look oh so effortless, don't you think?

So, what do you think? Anything you would steal from your boyfriend's wardbrobe?

Be Inspired This Summer ♥

I know this is a little early, but seeing as a few of my friends are already going on holiday this Easter, I thought I would do a bikini post, I've used my favourite girl's are inspiration. Don't they look amazing?!
I also managed to find a cowboy hat from Cheryl's picture. It's £25.00 from Topshop..Isn't it cute?
Tell me if there are any type of bikini's you would like to me hunt down for you...
This is a good distraction from my uni work 0=]

First Date ♥

Okay if you didn't notice, I had a little poll box at the side of my blog asking what post you wanted me to do next and "What to wear on a first date" had the most votes.
Now I don't think there is an official rule for a outfit to wear, obviously there are the basic rules as not wearing anything too revealing or too boring but I really think it is just being yourself and having fun!

This is an outfit I would wear on a first date, you know I can't leave the house without heels and it's not exactly practical but come on girls...when is fashion ever practical?! I would layer a few beaded necklaces over the blouse, to give it some texture and I would make sure my bag is full of mints and a mirror for some sneaky check ups through the night. The blazer makes this outfit more sophisticated and you could also wear this outfit on a night out as well.

The reason why you can get away with leather shorts is because your top half is completely covered. You have to remember the rule to show either leg or chest. Not both! Anyway, I hope you like this outfit...I it!!

What is your usual outfit for a first date?

If you're a bird I'm a bird ♥

I'm currently crying while watching The Notebook, in the house by myself. There is something rather ironic and depressing about that statement but I still can't turn the television off. The Notebook is definitely one of my favourite films, I would do anything to have a relationship like Allie and Noah.
Why aren't there any real Noah's around?

Anyway, I haven't been blog crazy this week as I've got loads of annoying uni work to do. So, I just thought I'd do a quick post on a make up video I can't stop watching. This look is gorgeous and I will definitely be trying this for a night out. When I do attempt it, I'll make sure to take pictures!

Your On My Hit List..♥

Here is some very depressing news, I have £6.00 in my bank to last me until the 31st of April, when I get paid. I have been living off Muller yogurts and microwave chips. Yes, you can all feel sorry for me haha. Why did I have to be a poor student?! There's only so much yogurt I can take!..I want Nando's or KFC =[

Anyway, my housemate left her Heat magazine lying around and I found a beautiful dress it that was spotted on Mollie King from the girl band The Saturdays. I want it!
It's only £38 from Miss Selfridge, the nude heels go perfectly with it too! I might have to add them to my list when I get paid ;) Heat said the heels are £65 from Aldo...I think I'll snoop around for a cheaper version though.

What's on your hit list for this month?!

I Need...♥

Okay, I'm in a pretty grouchy mood today and I have no idea why. So I've made a little list down below of the things I need to starting doing for myself. I feel slightly better after doing it actually =]

Anyway, this outfit would be perfect for a small gathering, date or if you swapped the skirt for fitted trousers, even work. Yes..when I leave uni, I will be very daring with the clothes I wear to work..fashion should have no boundaries, even at a office desk!

At uni, a industry event was held and we were lucky enough to met the deputy editor of Elle, Jenny Dickinson. Someone asked her the best advice she was ever given and she said:

"Dress for the job you want, NOT for the job you have."

I added the bright yellow eyeshadow to this, because I think it really matches the skirt. I would keep the rest of my make up to a minimum but just adding a hint of yellow to the lids would really add a pop to this look. How pretty is it?!

Finally, my rant list..Here we go, I need...
♥ I need to start focusing more on my work

♥ I need to stop relying on people who I know will let me down

♥ I need to stop giving people 100 more chances just to prove me wrong again

♥ I need to stop people making me think there is something wrong with me just because I don't have a boyfriend or rely on a man to get me everything

♥  I earn my own money, so I can eat when I want without needing someone to drive me there or buy it fore me, I can buy my own clothes without needing a man to and I can stand on my own two feet and be totally okay if I'm by myself for more than 5 minutes!!

♥ I need to be remember that I'm a grown up now..Minus the Disney DVDS

What's your "I need" quote today?

Blusher, Mascara & A Whole Lotta Lip Gloss..♥

From left: Clinique lipstick from Glamour's 10 year edition magazine, my over sized make-up bag, just a few things inside it. Vaseline, blusher, powders, brushes, mascara, lip gloss...the usual!
A new Barry M lip gloss I bought for £3.99...it smells amazing.

On the last row, dream matte mousse blusher in a bright pink colour. This is a bit too harsh for my skin tone, but it works amazing as a lip stainer! My hand shows the Barry M lip gloss and the Clinique lipstick. Aren't they perfect for Summer?!

Okay, this is not the most amazing insight to my make-up bag, but due to the fact my camera is reaching her prime, I think we should cut her some slack ;) haha.

Anyway, I've been getting a few emails about how I do my make-up routine before I leave the house and I must warn you, I don't like the "natural" look on me personally. I feel too self conscious at the thought of not wearing foundation or mascara...Sad I know.

My basic steps are:
♥ Apply moisturiser to face and neck.

♥ Using a brush, I gently cover mt face with a matte foundation - I have oily skin, so
I need my foundation to last! Maybelline's Wonder Finish in Sand is my favourite atm!

♥  I usually sweep pressed powder on my t-zone and chin area.

♥  I apply bronze coloured blusher to my cheek bones - I'm pretty bad with my blusher..I over apply sometimes! Bourjois blusher is my favourite.

♥ I apply Vaseline to a brow brush and gently go over my eye brows, then I apply a brown matte eyeshadow over them, to create a more defined look.

♥ I'm getting more confident to go out the house without eye shadow on now, so I usually won't wear any, but if I do...I'll lightly sweep a bronze eye shadow into my eye crease to create a smokey effect for the day time.

♥ I add some liquid liner to my lash line, then lots and lots of mascara! I have the shortest lashes in the world, so I have to use a comb mascara.
L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara in Black is the best!

♥ I apply a natural pair of eyelashes on to create a "Bambi" eyed effect.

♥ Finally I apply a dab of concealer on my lips, to give them a neutral colouring. Then I spread on some nude lip gloss and I'm all done!

Pucker up ;)

I Set Fire To The Rain ♥

Hello my lovelies, I have to admit I've been absent from the blogging world for about a week due to the fact I went back home to London! I would like to say I had a busy week, but I just spent most days watching Batman and eating Macdonald's with my friends..Very productive.
Anyway, this is just a little look I put together if you were going into town or out to eat. Nothing too dramatic, just a girly and sophisticated look.

After watching Batman (the 1989 version), I added the RayBan sunglasses that are inspired by the incredible Jack Nicholson. Since I was 2 years old, I have not stopped watching that film. I don't why I have such a strange obsession with it?!

Do you have any films that are guilty pleasures?
