Rihanna, Baileys & Primark Shopping ♥

Right now I am drinking Baileys from a children's Ikea cup..I've never had Baileyss before but apparently it can help cure a sore throat. We all know I have been ill this week so I thought I would try this experiment. As far as I can tell, my throat is still sore but I am starting to feel slightly tipsy.. Note to self: Maybe I should just stick to Lemsips?

I feel today's trip to Lakeside shopping centre has made me a tad tired but the Nando's courtesy from my dad, was definitely worth the long trip. After being pushed by an old lady while looking through a clothing rail in River Island, I gave up on looking at the sale items. It's all a little too crazy for me...So I ended up with these lovely non sale items. Aren't they pretty? :) As usual, I found myself drawn to buying Primark items, but I'm going to do a Missguided online shop in a bit. The bag was only £9.00 and I love it! My mum and sister thought I bought it from River Island ;) The T-shirt was marked £3.00 but on the till it said £1 - not too shabby.

Now I have been dying to buy a new pair of jeans that are very basic and these £9.00 jeans do the job perfectly. I'll have to take a picture wearing all of them together! The shoes were randomly in Primark for £6.00 instead of £16.00 - Yes please! They'll look great with the jeans and top. Finally, I bought Rihanna's new perfume for £17. Reb’l Fleur smells amazing and I'm having trouble deciding whether I prefer my Britney Midnight Fantasy or this... What do you think?! Oh and I still haven't found a NYE dress..I'm starting to panic! Crap, crap, crap. I'm running into town tomorrow to have a final look otherwise...well let's just say Anna Wintour won't approve ;) Have you got your NYE dress sorted?

Perfume, Leather Skirts and The Salvatore Brothers ♥

Hello girls! I hope you are having a good Christmas, I spend the majority of mine making cheese and crackers for relatives... I never want to see a pack of Jacob's cream crackers again. *sigh* Anyway, I got mainly money this year because I am in desperate need of new clothes. My mum bought me a few bits though including this black leather skirt from H&M, Topshop hot pants and also a black blazer from H&M. I finally got series 2 of The Vampire Diaries so now I am nice and happy - Damon Salvatore wants me so bad ;) What?! It's Christmas! I can dream!...Back to the point, I also got Britney's Midnight Fantasy perfume and it smells gorgeous. It's definitely my favourite out of her collection. The black clutch bag is from River Island and it's perfect for every outfit so I'm very happy. I also got a lipstick from Rimmel called Nude Delight..definitely a must have for your make-up bag.

I spent today with the best friend watching the Salvatore brothers and eating Pizza Hut..I think we're the only two people who ordered Pizza on Boxing day..It was totally worth it though ;) What did you end up doing today? I hope it involved lots of junk food..I still find myself in a food coma from eating all those cheese and crackers yesterday. It was nice to be around family though and watch the Michael McIntyre Christmas show..I loved seeing Miranda make an appearance! :)
I'm going to Lakeside tomorrow with my dad and sister to do some serious shopping..lets hope I find a New Year's Eve dress - I'm starting to panic slightly! Let me know how your dress hunting is going. ♥

Britney, Batman & Little Christmas Trees ♥

Hello girls, this week has consisted of me buying Britney's greatest hits on DVD, Tim Burton's 1989 Batman and two Ben & Jerry's - heaven! I've been having a serious catch up session with my Sex and the City box set and I can't express how much I love Samantha Jones. Girl power I bought these wedged boots from Primark for only £15. Not too shabby and they are very comfy :) I finally finished all of my university blog, the website is here if you fancy following ;) I bought this giant eye shadow palette for the MUA from Superdrug and it is amazing! I love the bronze colours in it. I finally came home to see this tiny Christmas tree in my room..it looks very chic next to James Dean. Oh and finally here is my healthy breakfast for today!

I'm just about to watch the film Trust with my sister and she is giving me 'the look' when she wants me to hurry up with my blog post for today..I'm tempted to write another one to annoy her..muhaha. I believe I am going out shopping tomorrow to get some bits and bobs because I'm going Tiger Tiger in Croydon. I haven't been there in ages, so hopefully it will be fun. I'll make sure to post the outfit that I wear..If only I had money to buy a brand new one! *sigh* Has anyone got any exciting plans for the weekend? I can't believe how fast December has gone....I hope you are all having a good week girls! 4 days until Christmas! :O

Missguided, Boots & Christmas Time! ♥

Hello girls! I hope you are having a good Christmas holiday - sorry that I've been an absent blogger this month. Saying I've been swamped with uni essays is an understatement but I'm finally all done! My dad picked me up on Friday and we had some Nandos, can you believe that he had never had Nandos before that?! I think I'm still in shock! It's nice being back home in London for a change, plus having food that my mums cooked isn't too shabby either ;) Right now I am wrapped up in bed watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall with a large amount of strawberry Ribena. Russell Brand is on my screen right now - he's very lickable isn't he?

I received a little parcel from the lovely Missguided team on Friday, that included a Thank you/Christmas card and a gorgeous red nail polish and lip gloss. The nail polish is called MissUnderstood and I've been wearing it for almost a week now and it hasn't even chipped. Hurrah! I usually have terrible luck with finding a nail polish that doesn't chip within 5 seconds... I was also doing a little browsing on Missguided's website today and I found some boots that look exactly like the Jeffrey Campbell Lita ones! The different being the £79.01 price ;) I think they look gorgeous - you could definitely do some serious catwalk struts with these bad boys. Let me know if you've recently bought them!

Tights, Blazers & Buffy Nights ♥

Hi lovers, I hope you've all had a good weekend. Can you guess what I was doing? Yes..uni work as usual. I feel like whenever I finish something, I still have 10 more things to go through..it's like I'm in quicksand all the time..not very fun. I'm really excited to go home in 2 and a half weeks for Christmas though! I'll be able to properly do my blog without any distractions. Who else is really excited for the xmas holidays?
You'll be pleased to know that Louise and I (my one and only house mate) have got up to season 6 of Buffy. We cried on the season 5 finale - The Gift. How cute ;) Re watching the Buffy series has rekindled my love for Spike even more. Why are there no guys like him in real life?! -_- As well as watching Buffy, I've started eating really healthy. I bought loads and loads of fresh fruit and I'm drinking bottled water and oh, oh I've even started doing sit ups in the morning and before I go to bed. My stomach is already feeling less bloated.. Toned stomach here I come! haha.

For todays outfit, I decided to go crazy and wear tights, in case you haven't noticed I never wear tights. I don't know why...I think it's because the tights I do find have many holes in them and I never remember to buy new ones. How touching. I really, really like this outfit. Starting from the bottom, the shoes are £4 for Primark, the skirt is £7 from H&M, the tanned strap top is £2.50 from Primark and finally, the blazer was stolen from my sister. I think she bought it from Primark though. What I love most about this outfit though is how well the skirt and top go together. I love nude tones! :) The skirt looks more white in the photo though...stupid camera. Anyway, I'm going to finish of my essay on Britney Spears - I know! I've never been so excited to do an essay before! We all know how obsessed I am with dear Britney ;) Anyone else with me on this?

Gold, Silver & Everything In Between ♥

Hi girls, I hope you've all got something exciting planned for this weekend. I'm guessing the majority of you are Breaking Dawn bound? I really want to see My Week With Marilyn and we all know how much I love Marilyn Monroe. Today has been spent in uni (as per usual) and I feel slightly better that I've handed in my contextual essay. I sent my mum the document so she could check it for any spelling errors and you know what she said?! "Oh Jade...I didn't know you were this smart. It certainly doesn't come out of your mouth like it does in this essay" Thanks mum -__- Isn't she a peach? I'm currently dying of thirst while I'm typing this..note to self: bring bottled water with me.  I've got my To Do List scribbled out next to me, exercise has been reluctantly put at the top of this list. I really want to start eating healthy, but I just need to some healthy recipe ideas! Has anyone got any suggestions? ;)

The metallic trend is coming back with force this season and I'm so excited! We have leather, tassels and metallic all on everyones hit list this Winter and I love all of them. It's pretty hard not to though, don't you think? I love how metallic outfits suit any hair colour or skin tone, especially since I love having sparkly outfits when I go out. The online store missguided, have the perfect heels for this trend, I love how thick the platform is! These are definitely a must for when you're next going out. I don't know why, but I kind of like the idea of going out like a giant disco mirror ball haha. I love all the items I've picked, it's really hard to chose what one I like the most. Feathers, Tassels & Old Hollywood Glamour ♥

Hi girls! Hope you are all good, I'm currently trying to multi task this essay that's due in this week, while doing this blog post. It's tricky, quite tricky haha. Lets hope I don't start referencing Roland Barthes' theory in this post... This week I've been glued to my laptop typing, spell checking, more typing and then more spell checking. A girl once told me that the third year of uni was the easiest - that girl lied to me haha. If I'm not trying to finish my essay, I'm wearing my yummy sushi pyjamas watching Buffy episodes with Louise. We're up to season 5 now ;) Oh, we also made ourselves a roast dinner on Sunday. It had cranberry sauce and everything! Pretty swish indeed, although we did watch Aladdin while we ate it so less glamorous there haha. Louise said I reminded her of the Genie, I don't know whether that's a compliment or not haha. Have you watched any Disney films lately?  I finally went to the cinema and saw Breaking Dawn. I'll be honest with you gentle, readers. I wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be. Maybe it's because I didn't get nachos when I watched it?

Okay, lets start with the outfit trend. I've been doing my usual research on websites and magazines and I can see that the 20's are coming back with a bang. 100% feathers, 100% tassels and 100% glamour. I love this trend because it's very old Hollywood. Stella McCartney and Calvin Klein did a great collection for this fall and of course gold was a main factor. I personally think that wearing everything inspired by the 20s can be too much for a day time look, but wearing a few elements will really make your outfit pop! The black bandeau dress from Rare is out of stock at the moment (I've looked everywhere, but feel free to post the link below if you find it!) but I think this going out dress is perfect for giving off the 20s vibe. The dress that Cher Lloyd wore for the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards was 1920s inspired. I love how Hollywood she looks in it. Let me know what you think of this trend.

Welcome To The Dark Side ♥

Hey girls! Hope you are having a good week, I must admit that I am slacking with the blog updates recently. I'm just so wrapped up with all this uni work, I'm finding it hard to do good posts for all of you :( It's not long now until all of this work load is off my mind! I'm currently on the phone to one of my best friends from home while typing this. Talk about multi tasking ;) I bought the latest More! magazine (as usual) and I definitely think it's a must for Twilight lovers. Hands up who's excited for Breaking Dawn to be released in the cinemas? Edward wants me so bad..He just doesn't realise it yet ;) I'm going on a double date with my best friend Louise and her boyfriend. My date is called Harriet. Yes - we're going to be each others date to comfort each other when we see Edward get married haha. They better have nachos there! ;) I also want to see the new film 'My Week With Marilyn'. We all know that Marilyn is one of my beauty idols and I find her life story very fascinating. Michelle Williams plays Monroe and the first screening for the film was in LA last week.

Anyway, this outfit is quite vampire inspired and it's perfect if you can't stand the shiny glitter and sequin trend. I love this Gothic trend because I have a strong appreciation for fitted black clothing. I don't think you can ever wear enough black, especially when you can add some gold or silver coloured accessories to spice it up a bit. My favourite pick has to be the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots and of course the Alexander McQueen clutch - I think that goes without saying though ;) When it comes to make up, dark lips are essential for staying true to this trend. Although the dark plum sample is of mascara, that would be the perfect shade colour. Estée Lauder 'Pure Colour' Long Lasting Lipstick in Hot Kiss is perfection and is a great example. Okay, I am going to get back to finishing my contextual essay. Wish me luck! Red Riding Hood, Military Jackets and Mary Poppins ♥

Hi girls! Hope your week is going well, I spent last night at the library researching what I want to write about for my MAC contract magazine. I've come up with some pretty good ideas - I think. I'm going to start writing up my first draft today! Ahh scary stuff. Anyway, todays outfit is very Cheryl inspired ;) The military jacket was only £5 from Primark! It was £20. It's great because it goes with everything and it still keeps me warm ;) We all know I have a fear of winter because I hate wearing layers and layers. How romantic.. Any who, the boots are also from Primark and were £15. The teal coloured crop top was from Miss Selfridges - I love it! I bought it last year for £8.
Now the bag clashes nicely with the outfit (which I like), it was £35 from Office. I got it years and years ago. I like how chunky looking it is and of course the colour ;) It reminds me of the bag Mary Poppin's has because the amount of stuff you can fit in here is unbelievable -not that I carry around hat stands or giant mirrors in my bags...

I'm currently listening to Fever Rays 'The Wolf' to get me inspired for my MAC feature post. I'm basing the beauty look on Red Riding Hood. Pretty neat idea huh? I think it would be nice to do a post on what products I come up with! :) I love the whole look of Red Riding Hood, it's pretty amazing how you can apply a Gothic theme to the character and that it still works so well together! I think Amanda Seyfried was perfect in the film, don't even get me started on how amazingly gorgeous Peter is.
I definitely want to go as Red Riding Hood next year, we all should have a red hood in our wardrobe ;) What's your favourite fairytale story?

Leopard Print, Pigeons & Minnie Mouse Hair ♥

Okay, so I've gone back to watching Buffy and eating everything in the house. I did try to be healthy but it's just to hard. I'm still doing my crunches though, if that counts? Todays outfit is pretty wintery (for once) and I really like wearing leggings instead of my usual trousers. I got them years ago from New Look and it's nice to know they're back in season now ;) The cardigan is from Topshop and is worth around £30 but I was lucky enough to get it from Ebay for £7! I like keeping the colour palette quite neutral when it comes to wearing leopard print. Although..I think red looks quite amazing with this particular pattern! The dolly shoes and the top were both £4 from Primark. Please excuse how similar my face looks to a cod fish. I swear I don't look like I suck on a lemon in real life haha ;)

The hairstyle is my 'Bad Hair Day' rescuer. Whenever my hair won't do as its told, I simply put it in this 'Minnie mouse' style bun. I'll try and take pictures of me doing it so you can the rough idea ;)
I'm not sure if I have any interesting news to report, except I'm on season 4 of Buffy? Anyway.. My best friend is coming down from London this weekend so that'll be fun, I actually miss London a bit :( We have pigeons instead of seagulls. That's the only difference I can find from London and Southampton - pigeons. Oh and Missguided have made a advert! I think it's pretty cool, it's inspired by the theme Drop Dead Gorgeous. I'll put the video down below :)

Right now, I am in the library blogging away, I can hear an American person! Eiiii! I can't exactly explain why I'm such an American groupie, you've all known this for a while though haha. I think I'm going to do some uni work after a long trip to the vending machine, they accept card now ;) Tomorrow will be another outfit post :)..I'm trying to carry my camera everywhere with me now! So has anyone else got leopard print leggings, do you think this trend is a hit or a miss?

Batman, Platforms & Wonder Woman ♥

Hello girls! Hope you’ve had a fabulous weekend…I don’t think mine could have been anymore unsociable. First of all, I spent the whole week finishing the Roland Barthes contextual essay...I over rambled as usual haha. Then for the weekend, instead of going outside to look at the pretty fireworks, I was watching Batman cartoons and eating everything in sight, which is why I’m going to start eating healthy again. I’m going to write down everything I eat and how many calories it has, that way I’ll try and cut down on all the junk!
I don’t know if you’ll remember, but a few years ago Glamour gave away the book ‘He’s just not that into you’. Well I’ve been reading it in bed and I forgot how much I love this book! I really admire the style of writing and witty stories.

As you can see, I made a poor attempt at ‘colour coordinating’ my clothes – I need to go shopping to revamp my wardrobe pronto! As well as watching Batman (yes, I’m a nerd) I started adding more research to my Final Major Project scrap book. It’s scary how fast uni is going at the moment…
Anyway, I bought this Thai green curry for dinner tonight; I’ll let you know if it was any good. I also made a ‘To do list’ for today – they do actually work! I’m doing number one as we speak! Haha ;) The two final pictures are of the heels from Office and me dressed up as Wonder Woman with Kirsty for Halloween. Now I don’t think I’ve mentioned the Office heels before, I bought them last year for a New Years party and have officially worn them once. They’re just too painful to wear! But aren’t they pretty? They were £90 but they were on sale for £20. The only way to describe them is to say it’s like wearing a pair of stilts haha.

I’m going to try and do a set of crunches now…Oh such joy. I seriously don’t know how people can exercise every single day without moaning as much as I do…Do any of you have an exercise plan? Hope you’re all having a good week. ♥

Winter Wonderland ♥

Hello girls, hope you are all well! I've had such a good weekend..mainly because it was Halloween time! My french maid costume didn't come in time (It still hasn't actually -_-) so I ended up going as Wonder Woman. I had so much fun! We decorated the house and made it all spooky looking..by putting black bin bags everywhere. I even made a Halloween playlist and because it was at my house I could play Britney Spears to my hearts content. I've been in uni since 1 today and it's not half 8 - I'm just glad I had a break to dress up as Wonder Woman. (So easily pleased) 
What other interesting things have happened? I've been stuck doing uni work all today, looking at Roland Barthes theory on photographic analysis. It really is as exciting as it sounds.. I also got this months Glamour today and it came with a free Nails Inc. nail polish! I got Basil Street, which is such a gorgeous nude shade. The December issue was fabulous as usual and it's got me all excited for Christmas! Which is usually rare for me because last Christmas I was home alone, defrosting chicken in the microwave and watching Die Hard on my laptop. I have never felt more like Bridget Jones in my life. 

Anyway, back on topic. This month's Glamour featured quite a few glitter & sequin party items, so I thought I'd look around and see what else there was. My favourite item has to be number 7. The H&M skirt is only £14.99, not to shabby. I don't know why but I think that the sequin and glitter trend goes perfectly with Winter. It makes everything seem a bit more "Winter Wonderland". I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I think I'm really excited for snow and Christmas crackers.

Queen Of The Jungle ♥

Hello girls, I am so sorry I haven't posted in a ages. I've been stuck in the library doing uni work, I feel like a zombie right now. I keep having this fear that I'll get behind in everything so I'm trying to be a keen bean and get everything done. I am starving and someone has ordered Domino's in here..Not fair! I hope you've all been okay. Apart from reading Roland Barthes theory on Image, Music and Text, I've had a pretty non existent week. Oh, oh I am having a Halloween party on Monday though! I know, I'm shocked to. I'm not the party host type, but Louise (the girl who lives with me) has persuaded me into it. I'm actually really excited! I'm either going as Wonder Woman or a vampire french maid. I watched Eve's Tambourine video the other day and became inspired haha. Love both of the outfits, Kim Kardashian as Wonder Woman = Wow.

I hope you like the collection I've put together, some of the links aren't direct, sorry! Some of the products are out of stock so I just gave the direct website link instead. I am so happy that this trend is back in fashion. I have an obsession with leather and leopard print. I want to buy a leopard print top to go with my leather trousers. Ahh my ideal perfect outfit! I would say that Missguided are pretty amazing with this trend at the moment. I'd give them a quick glance if you want a leopard print gaze. I had to include the Alexander McQueen clutch, I know I always feature him but come on..Have you seen how gorgeous his purses are?! I just need to grow a few money trees then I can have the hottest clutch purse in Southampton ;)

My whole family tree are driving down from London to see me, I'm quite surprised actually. I rang my mum the other night and got 'Can't talk to you now, the Michael Jackson trial is on.' It's nice that she's concerned about her daughter..
I feel very guilty that I haven't posted in a while, so I'm going to do another Halloween post for you all now. What are you all dressing up as for Halloween?!

I Need Help! Fancy Doing A 2 Minute Survey? ♥

Hello girls, hope your all having a nice day so far. It's freezing! This post is slightly different to my other posts because I need your help with my Final Major Project for uni this year.
Basically we've been asked to create a magazine and I've decided to create a magazine purely on MAC Cosmetics and I need around 40 filled out surveys to help me for my research.

Lydia from TOWIE, Kim K & New Autumn Beauty Trends ♥

Hello girls, hope your all good. I have a very embarrassing confession to make..I fell asleep at 7.00pm yesterday. What is wrong with me? I feel like an old person..I might have to do the good old 'it's cold' excuse.
Anyway, I'm starting with this outfit I've put together today. The top I showed, is in yesterdays post from H&M for £3.99 and the skirt is also from H&M for £7.99. I think it works really well together and I'm going to try and buy it this week! I think we all deserve a small treat right? I specifically put the Nars metallic eyeshadow and Essie nail varnish because these two shades are back for this new season.

Berry shades are in for Autumn this year and I couldn't be happier! I love dark berry shades because they really add sophistication to your outfit. Barry M does a similar berry shade for only £2.99. For eyeshadow this season, metallic tones are said to be the next big craze. Of course you can wear silver or gold but for my brown eyes, I would personally look better with gold metallic shades. Either way I'm so excited for this trend to be back in season!

I was looking at ELLE's website and I saw that asymmetrical hair is now back in trend. Sweeping your hair to one side and pinning it (hence me featuring the hair slides from Boots), allows you to look effortlessly chic without having to get choppy with your hair. I then added some chunky bangles from Oasis to add a play of colour with the rest of the pink tones, then added the gorgeous Chloe bag. I want it so much! :(

Right now I'm eating my Kinder Bueno while reading this weeks More! I definitely recommend you grab this issue, they've done a feature on how to copy celeb style. Including my favourites: Kim K, Victoria Beckham, Mollie King and Leighton Messter. They also have Lydia Bright from The Only Way Is Essex, but before you set Anna Wintour on me, I actually really like her style! Her fashion sense is so unique and classy. I'll definitely do a inspired look by her this week.

Top Sale Picks ♥

Hi girls, hope you had a good weekend. I've had a pretty busy week so far, I went home at the weekend to London for my best friends birthday and all I can say is, it was amazing! I've been back at Southampton for less than a month but it's nice to know I miss home a little already. 

Todays post is laid out nice and simple and just shows my favourite picks from the high street. I've noticed that I may be stuck in a neutral coloured rut. I have a very strong obsession with this trend and I think the only cure would be to buy all of these amazing items. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the tassle hem top from Miss Selfridge. It's beautiful! I don't think my picks are very expensive, so this little selection would hardly do much damage if you bought a few items right? 

I spent all yesterday reading through my More! magazine's with chip and dip. I'm easily entertained. Then I watched some more season 2 of Buffy with Louise and ate an entire tub of Carte Do'r ice cream. I had two lectures today about blogging and fashion in different cultures, which was quite interesting. Of corse I was eating throughout both of them. So much for me eating healthy. Before I came back to Southampton yesterday afternoon, my mum put a large bag of grapes in my handbag. Do you think she's trying to hint something? haha :)

When You're Around Me, I'm Radioactive ♥

Hello girls, hope your week is going good. I've just had 2 hours of lectures today, my hand hurts from writing so much. I'm out of uni shape haha :) I made sure to put the photos on my memory stick this morning! It's nothing fancy, but I love how my trouser collection is growing. Tuesday's outfit is pretty basic, the crop top is from Topshop for £8.00 and the trousers were £12 from Primark and so was the blazer. I really don't want to stop wearing sandals even though I know it's Autumn..I miss summer :( The nude bag is from USC..It goes well with pretty much every outfit I've got!

For the secound outfit, you should all know the leather pants by now ;) £14.99 from H&M and again I'm wearing the Topshop cropped vest top and sandals. Definite sign I need to stop wearing summer clothes and accept that autumn is now here.. It's not like I'm wearing them in the snow though! haha :)

A Glamour magazine editor is coming to our uni to give a guest lecture so I'm really excited for that! I love hearing about their expereince! I just want to finish off telling you about Marina and the Diamonds song "Radioactive" I love it. Give it a listen and tell me what you think.

What's In My Make Up Bag? ♥

Hello girls, hope you've all had a good weekend. I spent yesterday watching Buffy again and Grease 2. Yes..the '2' part isn't a typo. I watched the disaster Grease sequel by choice and it gets worse, I have a crush on the lead T Bird in it - Johnny Nogerelli. Someone help me. 
Anyway, I thought I'd do an updated 'What's in my make up bag' today because well..I take pride in showing off my new Asda bag. Yep, this leopard print pencil case, which is now my make up bag, is only £1.00. 
These are just my essential beauty bits that I cannot leave the house without. I think my favourite thing in my make up bag is the Volume Million Lashes Mascara. I seriously have the shortest eyelashes imaginable so to find a mascara that makes them look like false lashes is very faint worthy for me. Not that I want anyone to faint when they see my eyelashes...

I'd just to mention how cheap everything is in here..Being a poor student has reduced my cosmetic spending habits so I can now longer indulge in Estée Lauder. 

I always wear brown eyeshadow, I just use Natural Collection from Boots which is only £1.99. I love it! I think I've mentioned this particular shadow in a post before. I've got a little trick for how I do my eyes though..ready? Instead of using sticky tape on the corner of my eyes, I just hold a finger at the edge of my eyelid and this helps create a straight line for my eyeshadow. It makes it look nice and neat. 
I'll just tell you what tips and tricks I do for my make up...I'm sure make up artists will scowl if they read this though.

I also had an outfit post for you today, but I don't know how to put my memory card thingy in this MAC..stupid technology.  

♥ very lightly use a matte brown eyeshadow to contour my cheeks and forehead. 

 I put red lip liner in the corner of my eyes to make them appear brighter - Marilyn Monroe did this apparently.

 To make my nose look shorter, I only contour it half way. 

 I use hairspray to set my make up on once I've finished it. Remember to keep your eyes closed ;)

I'm adding all of these amazing colours to my wish list - I just need to plant my money tree first..
I also had an outfit post for you today, but I don't know how to put my memory card thingy in this MAC..stupid technology. Anyone got any tips and tricks they'd like to share and what is the one beauty product you cannot live without? Hopefully the outfit post for today will be all done by tomorrow girls!

'This isn't romance, this is bullshit' ♥

Okay, so it's not exactly the 1st of October today but the weather really feels Octoberish right now. Yes, I know Octoberish isn't a real word.. You should know that I'm slightly odd by now. 
I hope you are all doing okay and have lots planned for the weekend. I just had a two hour lecture of blogging, which was pretty cool. For those of you who follow my blog, you can see that I've given it a make under. Like snog, marry, or avoid! I want it to be taken more seriously so the background had to pack it's bag I'm afraid. 
What do you think? I really like how simple it looks now and I'll be able to have posts more image focused. 

This week I've just been watching Sex and the City (hence the title post for today), and Buffy season 1. I actually love Buffy's style for that season. It's very 90s. Anyway, before I start rambling on about my strange obsession for Sarah Michelle Gellar, I wanted to show you an outfit I put together today. It's nice and simple (as always), but I made sure that the accessories bring something to the outfit. Yes, I'm counting my blackberry as an accessory haha. I really like the make up I've paired with this look because it's fresh and rosy without taking away any attention from the main outfit. 

Right now I'm starting to get into the swing of uni work, I'm really getting excited about doing all the research and preparation for everything. Yes, I'm a nerd. After I finish uni today, I'm going to watch some more Buffy episodes in my pyjamas - such a party animal. What has everyone got planned this weekend? I hope it involves lots of posing for the camera ;) My student loan hasn't come in yet, so I'm pretty much living of cous cous and wedges. I really dislike being poor... I still haven't fixed the Internet in my house either, so feel sorry for me - I'd really appreciate it haha ;)

Leather Trousers, Cheryl's Dress & I Eat Lunch At 4?! ♥

Hello girls, hope you are all good! I'm getting really bored with not having Internet in my house and using the uni computers isn't the most inspirational location.. I just wanted to show you my outfit that I put together. Yep, that's right. Leather trousers!! Although I keep calling them leather pants.. 

These trousers are £14.99 from H&M and the jumper is only £10 from Primark. It's a perfect outfit for when it gets really cold and best of all, it reminds me of the American Tumblr girl! I'd probably pair this outfit with a nice nude shoulder bag to keep the focus on the trousers. I walked past a Big Issue man today who said "Please give me money so I can buy my own pair of leather trousers!" 

It's safe to say I wasn't as amused as he thought I would be.. I saw this picture of Cheryl and had to use it in this post. She just looks like she's glowing with confidence and proves that she really can pull off any design she wants. This dress was designed by the one and onlVictoria Beckham

Kim Kardashian, Topshop & Lemsips ♥

Hey girls! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I'm back up at uni now and have no Internet..unless you count my blackberry. I'm hopefully getting it sorted out by the end of this week so I can be back to posting like normal
I'm incredibly silly because I left my camera memory card at home with all my images, so I don't have any outfit posts for you today. I'm currently sitting in uni typing away..I'm sitting next to an American - wooo! (I'm such a USA groupie I know.) 
Anyway, I saw this picture of Kim on the latest cover of Harper's and WOW. How amazing does she look?! The dress is quite unusual but it looks stunning on her as per normal.


I'm currently ill so I've been living of Lemsips for the past few days. It's no fun! I need to take pictures of my room to show you how I've decorated it. It's very umm...Disney Princess inspired. I hope you like this outfit I put together, it's perfect if you have a tan..or for the general public in England, once you fake tan it will look nice haha. Although, the sun this week has been pretty nice right?! 
I think the bracelets add a nice affect to it and don't even get me started on The Heels. They are amazing! It's a nice change to wear heels other than black. I think I'm stuck in a black heels rut. Anyway, tell me what you think! I will reply back to all your comments, it's just because I have no Internet at the moment. I promise I'm not being mean! :)

I Fancy Mila Kunis ♥

Hi girls, hope your weeks been going goodI'm packing up all my stuff for uni this week (I leave on Thursday), so I'm kinda running around like a crazy person right now. Anyway, I just wanted to share how much I adore this woman. I think she is such a great actress and I really her mannerisms! Mila is absolutely gorgeous and I'm jealous of how amazing her eyes are..Mine are just too small :( I've put together a little 'essential kit' for the things you need for a Mila inspired look. Matte browns and nudes are the basic colour palette essentials here, so this would be perfect for an evening look. ♥ I personally all the products that I've mentioned above and I love ♥, love ♥, love ♥ Natural Collection's matte brown eyeshadows

I also mentioned the Eylure lashes in that particular number (101), because Mila's eyes have a very 'fluttery' affect, so it's not too full on.

Finally, Barry M lip paint in Marshmellow is amazing when you have heavy eye make up. It's quick, easy and hassle free. I recommend adding a dab of peach coloured lipstick/gloss to add a bit of colour like Mila's. I this look! I hope you like the products I mentioned. Plus the pictures of Mila ;) Back to packing -__- Such fun.

Autumn Outfit #1 ♥

Hello girls, I hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend. I am currently sitting at a table doing uni research while doing this post..on a Friday night. Alone.
Talk about lonely soup for one ay? haha :)

Anyway, for me personally I find it so hard to find things to wear for the winter. Summer for me is pretty much denim hot pants, vest tops and a pair of Ray Bans.

But winter..Eurgh don't get me started. If I don't wear enough I look like Rudolph but if I wear too much I look like an Eskimo..you see my predicament here?

So I've come up with a formula for myself...

Black heeled boots + Tight leather type jeans + Fitted coat (Possibly military style)
One Rudolph free nose for Jade.

I'm going to try and post a variety of Autumn outfits because I know it will help some of you (& certainly me) when it comes to remembering what looks good and practical for when it gets colder.

Man I miss summer already..
